Already a week overdue. I can't possibly put into words how I am feeling.
Had an argument with DH (my fault) because I am a fucking nightmate to be around.
I am building so much resentment towards this baby it is unreal.

I didnt want to be induced but I feel that this baby will never come or I will lose the plot completely by then.

I feel so mad at my body and the baby for putting me through this.

I am so angry you wouldnt believe it!

I just want him out of my body NOW

Sending big hugs today. I really hope things are happening, but if not, enjoy today and know that tomorrow will be the beginning of the end of pregnancy! Not long now xx

Bluebellevergreen · 24/02/2017 14:08

Hello Smile
Nothing yet!
I am feeling better emotionally. Had a good chat with midwife and went for a wee walk.
Now I know it wont happen because he missed the perfect opportunity!
Power cut, no light, no hot water, no battery on our phones since yesterday until a couple of hours ago, you would have thought that would do it!
Nope. Going to hospital tomorrow to discuss induction options Confused

Thanks for the update. Think we are all rooting for you and feel somewhat invested in this pregnancy now Grin

And yes, what an opportunity to miss!

X

I hope you get a good night's sleep tonight. Are they inducing you tomorrow or just talking through options?

Bluebellevergreen · 24/02/2017 22:01

We are going with the intention of discussing options. Midwife said we can discuss options as long as they are happy and we commit to monitoring I have waited so long that I kind of now want to wait to 42 on Monday, but want to talk to the medical professionals before we decide...

Just hope this will be over soon with a healthy baby

Notanotherpawpatrol · 24/02/2017 23:35

Bluebelle Don't stress it!!! Have you tried the method that got the baby in to get the baby out???? We found that very effective with all 3 of our DC.
You have an appointment today.. just wait, relax.
I remember with our first feeling ready to burst.. and he came day before due date, do you must feel terrible.
You just need to remember that there is an end point and this won't go on forever ..( this works well for labour too!!)
Love and the best of luck!

Bluebellevergreen · 25/02/2017 05:10

meffy we tried last week but I have severe PGP and now that I have been losing a lot of my plug and I am still sore from the sweep I was concerned about an infection?
Plus DH managed to really hurt himself and he can barely move Sad
I am being nurse a bit.

OP posts:
Meffy · 25/02/2017 05:37

Bless you .... that was our best method !!! Although with last 2dc and severe SPD it was agony and DH hated it!!! No DH it's not big enough to poke DC on head!!!
Infection would only be an issue if your waters had gone!

I also did a lot of crazy fast walking on my own 😮. Which helped move DC down ...DC 3 fell out !

PotteringAlong · 25/02/2017 05:45

Mine were born at 42+1, 41+6 and 41+6. I was induced with 1 and 3. I didn't have antenatal depression and I was ready to send all of them back by 41 weeks! I also ate a lot of McDonald's Blush (the youngest is 2 weeks today so very fresh in my mind).

If it's any help, the inductions were fine!

troodiedoo · 25/02/2017 05:48

Hey bluebelle thinking of you hope things happen for you soon.

GayParee · 25/02/2017 06:14

Oh poor you. I had AND that turned into PND and again into AND (I was pg again when ds was 7 months old).

Unlike you I hadn't admitted it so was struggling on with crippling PGP, a baby and awful depression. DS hsd been nearly 4 weeks early and DD ended up being a week late, so I ended up being pregnant for over a month longer than I had before.

I love DD to bits but can still remember how unbelievably shit I felt, she would wiggle so much at night I'd be beside myself desperate for anything to make it stop so I could sleep.

It is shit, so shit I remember it like it was yesterday, even though was 10 years ago.

What I can say is however hard things feel once the baby is here nothing is as bad as this waiting and feeling that it will never end and your body is letting you down. You are doing wonderfully at getting through this Flowers

Best of luck later

RandomMess · 25/02/2017 10:42

Morning, well today is the day???

I have had 4 inductions, the two when I was 2 weeks overdue were actually very straightforward just a pessery or 2 and the rest happened all on it's own. Even my other two were straightforward just took longer and needed AR. Unassisted deliveries, no tears etc etc.

Thinking of you Flowers

Bluebellevergreen · 25/02/2017 11:20

Hello ladies! Thank you!
I am at the hospital still. Baby was monitored and all good.
I am 2 cm and I was contracting every 10 minutes whilst in the monitor, which is not a lot but something.
Midwife was supportive and said all good for us to come for monitoring daily as things are happening it looks without intervention.
Doctor was pushy with the induction a bit but when saw notes and I explained she said it all looks good so we are going to see what happens tomorrow/ Monday

So tired!

RandomMess · 25/02/2017 11:39

That is progress Smile

I still had a Bishops Score of 1, 7 hours after 1st pessary at 42 weeks with DC4 - I nearly cried, 7 hours of pain to achieve nothing!! She was born 4 hours later with an official labour of 2 minutes though Wink

Try and rest, please go back if you have any concerns at all though Flowers

Bluebellevergreen · 25/02/2017 11:45

Yes random we will be there at 9 am sharp
I am getting some pains and LOVING them (positives of being overdue??) This could mean progress

OP posts:
Notanotherpawpatrol · 25/02/2017 11:51

Woohoo blue!! I'm so pleased it's happening on its own, I know you were worried about induction. I hope you are in lots of pain very soon!!

RandomMess · 25/02/2017 11:59

Sounds like this could turn into a live birthing thread GrinGrin

It's so unfair I held out to 17 days overdue and still didn't go into poxy labour with DC2 Sad

BadToTheBone · 25/02/2017 13:33

Being overdue is all consuming, you quite frankly can't think of a single other thing. I had people saying "keep yourself occupied, keep your mind off it", what a load of shit, how can you do anything but think about the fact you're a house end, lol?

I was 40+11 with dd, after everyone had spent my whole pg saying "God, you're massive, you'll never go to term". Yeah thanks for that and thanks for getting my hopes up. She's 11 now and still late for everything. So IME this little lesson in patience will see you in good stead for the future, ha ha.

BadToTheBone · 25/02/2017 13:34

Well that just goes to show I need to read the whole thing before posting. You're 2cm, I'm so happy for you! You go girl!

Bluebellevergreen · 25/02/2017 16:12

Ahhh!!! Contractions keep happening and I dont want them to stop!
Do I bounce on my ball?
Ahhh ladies imagine I get to have my baby in the next 2 days! I might cry 😪

OP posts:
RandomMess · 25/02/2017 16:15

Just keep as mobile as you can, I found my birthing ball fab for during contractions helped control the pain.
