How long did it take you to conceive?

Just being nosey, really.

I managed to fall pg straight away on our first month of trying but sadly miscarried. Now we've been trying for 4 months since and no joy, even though we BD at the right times, etc.

So I was just wondering how long it took you all to get pg so I have an idea of the average around here?

1st month of trying 3 times. V v v lucky.

1sr pregnancy - 1st cycle. came off pill, used condoms for a couple of months as recommended, then bingo!. now have DD 2.2

2nd pregnancy- same again, but had early m/c.

3rd pregnancy. waited for first period after m/c then conceived 1st cycle again. now 22 weeks pregnant.

I feel very lucky, but there again, we were very clinical about it, BDing every 2 days around ovulation.

After my m/c I wished I hadn't waited until after my first period as I was desperate to get pg again, and knew that fertility levels were higher in 3 cycles following m/c.

It must be hard for you wavedancer as you found it so easy first time, but hopefully it won't take too long. Have you tried grapefruit juice and early primrose oil prior to ovulation as they help the CM?

BTW, I am 35, as is DP.

Got pregnant 10 years ago just after coming off the pill, even before I had a period.

10 years later it took me 8 cycles after coming off the pill and temping and charting for 7 of those.
