Hi ladies! Starting a new thread for those of us who have spent a while on the infertility board while going trough various treatments and are technically pregnant but too scared to join a pregnancy thread! Smile

It's at 2:15pm. Absolutely sh*tting myself predictably, but kind of in a good way if that makes sense. I feel so much more pregnant than i did a few days ago, I kind of feel like the bloat is falling away and everything I can feel is actual pregnancy if that makes sense. I will be surprised if it's stopped developing in the last week, although obviously you never know which is why I'm so nervous.

I felt DD from about 18 weeks last time, so I would expect to hopefully feel this one from around 16. That's only 4 weeks away!! Shock

Sorry you're feeling so ropey still xx

eastegg · 30/01/2017 14:56

Checking in to say good luck mistletoe!

I'm rubbish at keeping up with the thread , iPad keeps going all 'sticky' and scrolling up and down takes ages!

But great news Mrscrab!

My nerves are increasing again as I get near to Harmony test result time. Expected to be 2 weeks from the 20th so end of this week.

Hang on in there everyone. Lolly sorry you're not feeling great.

On the movement front, I know they're not movements as only 14 and a bit weeks but gosh it feels there's a lot going on down there. Can sometimes feel something kind of pushing upwards in the stomach area, like there's just not enough room for everything. Probably too much food. Wind is so similar, but I remember from previous pregnancies that it's pretty unmistakable when real movements start, a kind of flutter that tellingly stays in the same place, not like wind does! God I hope I get there this time, and everyone else too!

Lolly2803 · 30/01/2017 15:10

That's great Bear! I am actually finally feeling pregnant and thinking it might happen. I have a definite bump!! No idea when I'll feel them moving. She did say I'd feel them earlier but I don't know what to expect! I feel a lot of twinges and pinching and stretching type sensations. I've even had the odd shooting sensation down below. Def feel like there's a lot going on!

Hey EastEgg, I'm sure you'll be fine and everything is going perfectly. I was nervous for my NIIPT wait as well but not too much longer. xxxx

I reckon you'll start feeling them soon, Lolly. Must be getting pretty crowded in there now.

The first sensations I had with DD, and what I swore I had today, is very similar to when you get a twitch in your eyelid, if that makes any sense.

Lolly2803 · 30/01/2017 15:33

Oh yes I know what you mean!! Eeekk! It's exciting. I'm going to book a scan today for. Feb 10th at the clinic. I want them to measure my cervix more than anything to be honest. If the NHS say they won't check it at all my appointments then I'm going to get the clinic to. xxx

All good here, very wriggly baby.
Be back later to catch up

mistletoeprickles · 30/01/2017 18:22

Phew as you can imagine it's been a whirlwind of a day, do many emotions. But all good and very happy Grin

mrscrabb glad everything was ok Cake

bear remind me...This is second baby? Movement tends to happen earlier with second babies, I've read a lot about it. Including something called quickening which is early movement. I can not wait!
Good luck tomorrow Brew

I have missed many of you but scrolling up and down on my bloody phone keeps confusing me.

Oh and they moved me by 3 days so I'm 12+3

Hope everyone is ok.

Thinking of you bear xxxx

Bear2014 · 31/01/2017 17:08

Hi ladies, all is good! Longest scan ever, I feel bruised and battered! The little bugger wouldn't cooperate and seemed to be actively hiding ;o) and was extremely wriggly.

They said they were 70% sure it's a boy! Can't believe it, we really weren't expecting to be offered that information...WOW!

xx

mistletoeprickles · 31/01/2017 17:30

Yay bear and wow that is added news, clearly has an obvious nub.

It's weird that you should say about bruised and battered because I feel it today. She did have to press me quite hard though because baby was in a weird position.

lolly I saw on another thread you were asking about gender guesses. I think you've got one of each but I'm a nub theory learner so could be way off

FraggleRock77 · 31/01/2017 17:32

Lovely news Bear! You must be so relieved? And a boy! Great x

Lolly2803 · 31/01/2017 18:04

Aw Bear that's sooooo amazing! Argh I'm so so so happy for you! And wow a boy - wahoo!!! Can you relax now?

I also felt battered and sore afterwards as it took her ages and lots of prodding too. Seems there are some very active babies on here!!

Yes mistletoe I did as I was curious! I've got no idea at all so was interested to see what others thought!

Bear2014 · 31/01/2017 18:10

Yes I do feel really relaxed now - it was properly alive and kicking, 6.3cm and the Down's etc risk was super low. We'll have another scan at 16 weeks before we get carried away on the whole boy thing.

I can never believe how rough they are with you - she was jiggling and jabbing me with the thing!
