Congratulations x I found out in Christmas Day I'm pregnant with my 2nd due 1st September ( I think)
Feeling nauseous and boobs are sore and the tiredness is kicking in. Having a nearly 4 year old makes this pregnancy feel very different to the first.

How are you feeling ? Is it your 1st?

Amz26 · 04/01/2017 10:53

Congratulations to both of you.. I found out around a week ago and I'm around 4+5 weeks.. I think I'm due on the 8th Sep but I can't be sure!
Sorry to hear about your MC Rose I hope this time you have a sticky bean :)

How are you both feeling? Any pregnancy symptoms X

calimommy · 04/01/2017 11:11

3# for me, I have a 3yo and 18mo. Bit earlier than we had planned but slowly getting over it! I'm beat, no sleep 4 nights from 8hr jet lag and everyone's sick. Due sept 8th I think. Ive also had two MC so I'm taking this day by day!

SpringSpringSpring · 04/01/2017 14:46

Congratulations all! Just found out & in shock as have been TTC for over a year and have spent so long preparing for it not happening, I am completely taken aback now!

Stupid question - I just rang to book an appointment with the nurse but now wondering if it should have been with the GP?

Amz26 · 04/01/2017 15:25

Thanks Spring congratulations too.. I've booked in with my gp but I'm not really sure 🤔 It's all new for me too :)

Cali sorry to hear about your MC :( fx this is a sticky bean X

archersfan22 · 04/01/2017 18:18

Me too -with my first I went to the gp who really wasn't very interested and sent me to reception to collect the form to register with the midwife. This time I haven't bothered with a gp appointment and just got the form from the surgery.
I may be wrong but I don't think GPs have much to do withpregnancy care, (except medication for morning sickness) - everything else seems to be the midwife or various hospital based people.

Hey all!! Nice to meet you (in cyber form anyway)

I don't know how far along yet.. guessing 4 week mark..

Symptoms wise sore bigger boobs (which I'm secretly loving) I've been feeling a little queasy but not sick sick just a little urge... and the tiredness comes and goes!!

I have a dd who is 8, she keeps me busy but will be so happy when I tell her I'm pregnant, just not going to for a while (until she can tell) as I've had 2 mc in the last 3/4 months 😩
I do feel different this time tho which could be a good sign!!

Not sure when I'm supposed to get in touch with drs to book midwife.. don't want to jinx it xx

Can I join the nearly pregnant party? I'm somewhere between 5-6 weeks. I've know for a while though, sore boobs started early and I got a positive test well before my period was due, just before Christmas. The first positive test- I took a few to make sure Smile

Second baby for me if all goes smoothly, though I know it's early days. Feeling ok, just a bit permanently hungover!

MouseLove · 04/01/2017 19:55

Congratulations ladies. I'm 5+2 today and got my BFP on NYE. First baby. I have my midwife appointment on the 27th so I'll be 8+4. I'm seeing my doctor on the 14th as I'm ongoing specialist care for another matter. In fact I was meant to have an MRI scan on NYE and did a test to make sure I wasn't pregnant. Best shock ever. We've been TTC since August. X

WhatwouldRuthdo · 04/01/2017 20:31

Ah, that sounds like a fab surprise! I'm impressed you have your midwife appointment already. If it hasn't changed since I had my son, I expect to get mine with about 3 days notice, and not until week 10ish. Varies so much around the country.

onlymrsmac · 04/01/2017 20:33

Got my BFP on 15th December so I'm 7+2

Went to the docs same day ( my GP always wants to see you before you see midwife) and midwife booked for 16th Jan when I'll be 9 weeks

Congrats ladies Flowers

lilyborderterrier · 04/01/2017 20:37

Hello ladies I got the number of the midwives from the doctors and they rang me back to book me in. I'm going on the 23 when I will be 8+2 weeks. I am in Calderdale, West Yorkshire.

MouseLove · 04/01/2017 20:46

WhatwouldRuthdo I just booked in with my docs who said my midwife only came into the surgery on Fridays. I said I was 5 weeks and she agreed and said midwife would like to see me in my 8th week. It's an hour appointment. That gives them enough time to book my 12 week scan in apparently. I'm just looking forward to making this feel real.

WhatwouldRuthdo · 04/01/2017 21:00

Thanks Mouse, hopefully I'll hear something soon. Gets tricky to take time off work if it's too short notice. My 12 week scan was at 13.5 weeks last time and midwife appointment was definitely 9-10 weeks. Think I just live in a tardy area!

Somedays · 04/01/2017 22:39

Just got my BFP yesterday! AF only due yesterday, so very early days, due date 12th Sept if all goes well. Total shock after 12 months TTC. Need to chat somewhere as only DH knows for the foreseeable...

Rose280187 · 04/01/2017 23:03

Congrats everyone 💫

Somedays - yes I know how u feel, can't tell anyone but automatically have the urge to tell people!! How r u feeling tho? Have u had any signs?

Think I may bite the bullet and ring the dr tom and see whether I can just book in a midwife app.. since my mmc I've been to dubious...

OP posts:
Somedays · 04/01/2017 23:11

No symptoms at all! But I normally get lots of symptoms with AF so that's something in itself. Does feel very surreal...

Somedays · 04/01/2017 23:13

Just call the GP surgery and ask for the midwife's number Rose - you can probs them just book an appointment direct. I haven't registered with a new GP since we moved last year, so better get on with that then...

Amz26 · 04/01/2017 23:23

Welcome and congratulations newbies :)

BonsGirl · 05/01/2017 00:46

Congratulations all! I'm hoping to get my bfp and join you all! I'm 14 days late for my period with lots of symptoms etc so keep your fingers crossed for me! :)

calimommy · 05/01/2017 03:56

14 days late, how have you not tested already?! I can barely wait till my period is due.

Amz26 · 05/01/2017 10:44

bonsGirl I've got my fingers crossed for you :) when are you going to test? X

Rose280187 · 05/01/2017 21:23

Bonsgirl - any news yet?

I'm ringing the drs tomorrow.. abbot nervous!! Guess its best I just get booked in xx

OP posts:
Isthisusernamefree · 05/01/2017 21:37

Congrats everyone and bonsGirl, good luck!! I found out yesterday :)

In the last 6 months i've had a MMC and a MC at 7 weeks so i'm terrified. Trying so hard not to think about it, but every twinge has me over analysing. I'll give it a week and then book in to see the midwife at the end of the month.

Looks like we conceived on Xmas eve or Xmas day and literally all I asked for for xmas this year was a baby - if this is a sticky bean then it'll be a lovely story to tell :)

littlehelp · 05/01/2017 21:59
