Hi can I join too.
Just found at at weekend at around 9dpo so very early. Expected due date 21 September. Have had 4 previous mcc so hoping this is my second rainbow baby Smile

thedragonflyinn · 10/01/2017 18:47

Me too! Found out at the weekend, estimated dd 20 September.

Feeling pretty rough today, soooo tired and a pounding headache!

This will be my second, we've been trying on and off for a year so feeling over the moon!

dippypanda · 11/01/2017 07:24

Congrats thedragonflyinn! We've been trying for about the same time this time round so we're cautiously excited!

thedragonflyinn · 11/01/2017 19:27

Thanks dippy. I'll keep my fingers crossed for us both!

My dr surgery are so crap. Won't see me and say I have to self refer to midwives. Has anyone else had to do this?

Carolina80 · 11/01/2017 22:11

Yes I have had to do this too. Had to leave a message on an answerphone and apparently they will ring me back within 1 week. My doctors surgery is always terrible so wasn't surprised.

Amz26 · 11/01/2017 22:20

Welcome newbies and congratulations :)

I can't believe your GP surgery are so unhelpful!! To be honest my GP is amazing so when I called up I had to wait 2 weeks but it wasnt a rush anyway X

SairdyJane25 · 11/01/2017 22:56

Hi ladies, 5weeks tomorrow (11th) EDD 12-15th September depending on which app
I believe. Had a CP in October which is making me feel very detached from the whole thing. Symptoms so far are bloating (already look about 4 months gone!) gas, irritable and tiredness but then I do have a 2yo as well.

Pinkbottletop · 11/01/2017 23:46

Ah good to know Carolina!

Amz my dr surgery are crap about everything Tbf!

Sairdy- sorry about your cp. I'm super excited but trying not to be because I'm going to be super devastated if something happens...which it did before

Hello,
This is my first post here.
33
TTC #1 for about 2 years.
Was in the middle of IVF process (early stages) as we are 'unexplained'. It's been a really long road and a bit of an emotional rollercoaster . Doing my best to try and stay calm but did a poas test (okay 3x texts to make sure?!) and BFP....

I waited until I was 10 days late as I was in denial over it all. It's been such a tough couple of years. I'm yo-yo ing between feeling excited and happy, but then dread about the poas being false or it not sticking.

I don't want to tell any friends or family yet. We've been together 9 years - and for at least half of those various f and f been making unhelpful and hurtful remarks like 'better not leave it too long ' etc

I don't really know if I have proper symptoms or not- maybe my head is tricking me?
Is it normal to be really bloated this early ? I think I look like I have a bump but I must only be 5-6 weeks? Have heartburn and terrible tiredness

When should I call my GP? Is 5/6 weeks too early?
I have so many questions but feel really isolated and alone so hoping to find a bit of company and support here

Gina098 · 12/01/2017 07:23

I'm the same ur mind is not playing tricks I have bloating tiredness sore boobs and hartburn no morning sickness yet it's completely normel I went straight to my doctor ur best to hear from a doctor even doe I done clear blue I still couldn't believe it congratulations welcome to pregnancy wish u all the best to u both ps u tell when u are ready don't be stressing about what they will say but I'm sure everyone will be soooo happy for u both Smile

Carolina80 · 12/01/2017 08:09

Well morning sickness well and truly arrived this morning. Been sick twice this morning and now on the bus praying I don't make a very embarrassing public display. A good sign that all is well but makes getting ready and getting to work quite difficult.

archersfan22 · 12/01/2017 09:32

Justkeepswimming -sorry to hear your friends and family haven't been very sensitive. We were trying for about 4 years and also had some unhelpful comments. I have no intention of telling anyone yet (think I'm about 7wks now) and was quite surprised at lots of people on here saying they're telling their families at 5/6 weeks (not criticising this at all, each to their own). Although maybe it's different if you live closer to your family than we do - I only see parents/in laws about once a month. Also I'm not much of a drinker/coffee drinker/bungee jumper etc normally so there's nothing in my behaviour that would make it really obvious. I can see it would be tricky if you would normally get quite merry at Christmas and are suddenly not drinking at all.
Ideally I'd like to wait until after the 12 week scan. You tell people when you're ready.
A friend did guess because we were talking about whether we'd have another one and I must have said something that made her suspicious and she asked me straight out if I was pregnant - I'm a terrible liar so couldn't say I wasn't.
Last time I threw up most mornings from about 8 weeks until 20 weeks... (Got really fed up with people telling me it would stop at 12 weeks....). The exhaustion improved a lot around 14 weeks though. I'm hoping I'm a bit better this time - so far I've felt nauseous quite a few mornings (also had a worrying bus trip recently) but no actual vomiting.

sparkledebacle · 12/01/2017 10:22

I think I might be pregnant but this is all new to me. Period was due beginning of this week but have been having pregnancy like symptoms for last week or two. I did a clearblue (non digital) 2 days ago and again today, both were very clear positive tests. Had an ultrasound yesterday for something else but they said they couldn't see any sign of a pregnancy but didn't want to rule it out either. So now I'm worried/confused. If I am pregnant would have conceived on 23 Dec - so is it just too soon to see anything on ultrasound or could it be something else causing positive test results??

Jellybabie3 · 12/01/2017 10:29

Hi all. Im very happy to be joining after getting my BFP yesterday. I am 2 weeks pregnant. This was cycle 3 ttc #1 😀
OHs birthday tomorrrow and we are off to a suprise (for him) spa weekend!

Only symptoms for me is constant crampy pain in pelvie area. Not too dissimilar to AF (technically due saturday)

Gina098 · 12/01/2017 11:19

Sparkldebacle congratulations a line is a line a clear blue I done 1 not digital got a faint line went the doctor and it was positive best of luck with ur little Bundle of joy

sparkledebacle · 12/01/2017 12:06

Thanks Gina098 and Congratulations!! hopefully I'll get same news from doctor on Monday! Smile It's my first time and I think we expected it to take longer so I'm just overthinking and second guessing everything. Sonographer didn't help of course... assumed she was just being nice by saying I might still be pregnant but she couldn't see it!

Gina098 · 12/01/2017 13:46

Sparkldebacle it's to soon to see anything in a ultrasound it's not visible to the eye till 8 week and it's still just a dot I know it's hard to take in I didn't take it in till I seen my doctor to and this my 3rd it's a natural feeling if u feel like u can do a digital blue test it will tell give u an idea how long ur gone don't be stressing u will see ur doctor on Monday mean thing is put ur feet up x

Pinkbottletop · 12/01/2017 16:27

sparkle you have the same stats as me! Conceived on the 23rd (my app says) and was due AF on Monday but we're now Thursday and no sign. My AF is always bang on time.

I spoke to midwives today and they said if I want I can get an internal scan, but a regular ultrasound wouldn't pick up much as you'd have a 2mm pregnancy sac at this stage. Go to your EPU and ask for an internal. I'm going next Tuesday.
