Only just found this thread and am PMSL at it. Fantastic!! Had forgotten about the sainted Emma until I got handed a copy last week at the GP's. Love the story earlier in the thread with the orange juice, coconut snowballs and Eddie Izzard. Quality.

Auntymandy - funny but I always wake up at 3am and 6am ish....Luckily DS has stopped waking in the night.

I'm at work, but cannot focus on anything but my Yahoo mail and mumsnet. Lickily no-one has noticed yet.
I want to go to sleep so badly.

Saw consultant and had scan yesterday, all is well, and only 6 weeks and a bit to go..

How are you feeling?

Ha - no wonder the midwife was hesitant when she offered me my copy, she must think it's tosh too. I read it anyway as a naive first time mum to be, about as much use as a chocolate teapot! And yes, "Flump" v annoying.

morning girls. 22 weeks today.
Not looked after mindee for a couple of days now its the weekend and I am at hospital (at last) on Monday. After blubbing to DH about how exhausted I am feeling ,he said he would get up on the 5 mornings I didnt have to. So far he has done.....0 mornings!!! Wont do tomorrow as he is working really late tonight! Am I wrong to feel a bit hurt by this?
As for 'twinkle' jumping around loads. DS4 (2yrs) wakes it up on a morning, with a raspberry on my tummy then sings to it!! quite sweet.
Got a bit of an upset tummy, think I ate a dodgy hot dog at ikea!!!

Went to a birthday party this afternoon and sneakily ate loads!!! very yummy!
Came home and baked 2 cakes, which I am going to over induldge in now!!

PMSL at this thread - priceless, especially the bit about FlumpyBumpy becoming a teenage Goth and faithful Nick running off with Gina. I re-read Emma's diary last night and you're right, it's a load of old twaddle, because she's so darn perfect. I'm soooo glad that no sooner did she know she was pregnant, then she rushed around to her best mate's house to change nappies. Great stuff!

I agree about the Lloyd's pharmacy pack too - load of old rubbbish and most of it ended up in my recycling bin!

Had my scan on Monday.. now due 23rd June!
Well I know baby will come when it wants!! Mine have ranged from 16 days late to 11 days early, what do they know?!!!

Its not all pink fluff this baby lark is it!!

Tiredness going a bit, but cant sleep and last night I had an awful pain in my side!!

Today I am off to Whacky Wharehouse where I will eat cake!!!!!

Does anyone remember Emma's weird stick-like arms? I couldn't concentrate on anything else when I read it!

Sad thing to work out, but I wash 49 pairs of socks a week....my brain has turned to mush..its official!!!!
