Just that really. I'm 35+1 now and feel seriously huge, and I keep bumping into things. Everything feels like a bloody effort. I have a 2 year old DD who I am exhausted by as she has limitless energy. And I have to pee approximately 8000 times a day.

Part of me just wants this to be over now, but then I also am freaked out about having to cope with a toddler and a newborn, so another part of me just wants this baby to stay a bump for as long as possible.

There must be some other ladies out there in the late pregnancy stage who would like to pull up a chair and have a moan with me? Maybe whilst eating Cake ?

Have you told your mw about being itchy??? I think that can be a sign of liver problems? Sorry to worry you! Might be worth a phonecall? X

HandbagAtDawn · 07/11/2016 15:01

Thanks Kitten x

Yes I've already mentioned it to the MW and been checked out. It's more a sort of stretchy-skin-over-bump itching rather than the potentially dangerous kind.

This morning I waxed my legs and - I'm particularly proud of this - my massive muff.

I did it blind as well, since I haven't had sight of my downstairs area for about four months. When I checked in the mirror it was a bit of a shock!

Plus the nice maternity nursing shirt I ordered from Gap arrived today and has already been packed in my hospital bag.

Now I feel all ready. I have nothing else to do now apart from have this damn baby! SO excited to give him a cuddle.

Kittenrush · 07/11/2016 16:06

Woah, you are seriously brave! i gave up about 4 weeks ago after cutting myself quite horrendously Hmm poor muff has enough to go through without me cutting it to shreds.

HandbagAtDawn · 07/11/2016 16:09

True, we must be kind to our muffs.

My muff is hardcore though.

ChocolateBudgeCake · 07/11/2016 16:33

Talking of muffs I have Thrush - yay! Pharmacist couldn't sell me anything and the Dr won't prescribe me anything until my test results are back. Even though I bloody know what it is!!!! Argh!

I'm sending DH for some cream tonight. I can't wait another day!

I'd love to fit in some pampering but just can't be arsed to go to the salon!

AyeAmarok · 07/11/2016 16:41

I also tried to wax my muff a few weeks ago, I couldn't really reach and I couldn't see. So it wasn't particularly successful! And I suspect, given that I reckon I'll go to 42 weeks, it'll all have grown back anyway.

Handbag I have the itchy bump skin thing too. It's also gone a bit numb so it's a strange combination of itchy and then when I scratch it I can't feel it Confused

Gabby786 · 07/11/2016 16:56

Haha I've just been shaving my muff blind and I've been doing a good job apparently haha

HandbagAtDawn · 07/11/2016 17:08

ChocolateBudge plain yoghurt and a tampon

Flowers for all the muffs.

KitKat1985 · 07/11/2016 17:11

Haha, my muff is being a bit neglected. I haven't seen the poor thing in weeks, but I did attempt a trim last week with the aid of a mirror!

I wish I had the skill and dexterity of all of you. I'm having to go with the cave woman look!
Had more acupuncture today, still nothing. Feeling seriously grumpy.

sophieeleanorxx · 07/11/2016 20:41

Hahaha I've been using a mirror and squatting down in the bath but I have given up now I no longer care! How is everyone doing this evening? I've been on the bouncy ball going round in circles seems like it has done something as it feels like the baby is in my bum! And managed a quick waddle to get my nails done Grin

AyGirl · 07/11/2016 20:43

Tired as hell and my dd's are hellish atm. Youngest is 10mths and it will be scary to raise three toddlers!!!

Gabby786 · 07/11/2016 21:05

I had a sweep today. They told me I'm 2cm and they could feel her head so fingers crossed something happens before I get induced which is Thursday:-/ I had a warm bath and bounced on my ball. Totally shaved my muff so I'm ready for childbirth haha. And about to have spaghetti bolaignaise with the hubby when he's back home while we watch The Walking Dead lol.

Cailler · 08/11/2016 09:23

Hi all, 38 weeks today and hope I can join. Although I'm not sure that I technically qualify since I'm probably the least miserable that I've been all pregnancy!! The end is in sight and although I have a lot of new stuff going on (almost all at 3.30am- leg cramps, aching hips, insomnia) it's all so much more pleasant that than some of the previous months. I think the colder weather is helping, whilst everyone else is all bundled up I am hot and the cold is bliss!
Hope everyone is feeling well this morning and that you all had a good night's sleep

Kittenrush · 08/11/2016 12:56

Sorry cailler, if you're not miserable, you're not allowed in our gang Grin

Kittenrush · 08/11/2016 12:57

Oh also, you all inspired me to attempt a muff shave. It went better than expected!

MrsRaymondReddington · 08/11/2016 13:12

Can I join in please?! Still got 4 weeks left, but am extremely proud that I beat my wee record last night...8 times! Confused Yes to the itchy bump and leg pains as well. I'm almost completely fed up with the muff taming, but enjoy my Aquanatal classes too much, so am sticking with it for the sake of the others in the class! Collecting a wee sample has now become a blind sport as well Grin

Cailler · 08/11/2016 13:53

Haha I have a dedicated pee pot that I bring from home and then transfer, there is no chance that I would be able to blindly aim for those tiny little pots at the doctors! Aquanatal sounds lovely

Nuttypops · 08/11/2016 14:59

Trying to collect a wee sample is like diving for gold these days, absolutely impossible! The noise of toddler DD banging on the toilet door shouting, "Mummy wee-wee, I help, I help Mummy!" doesn't help my concentration either Smile.

DD is just up from her nap, I joined her but I really don't want to get up and get on with the rest of the day. We have a family gathering this weekend 6 hours away (I will be 37 weeks on Sunday) and I need to pack but really can't be bothered. I am half hoping to go into labour before then so we don't have to go!

ChocolateBudgeCake · 08/11/2016 15:47

I find the hardest thing about doing a sample now is that each one of my wees is approximately a tablespoon! I have lost the ability to hold a wee bigger than that. I have to be more accurate than ever before, it certainly brings a new meaning to the term liquid gold!

I have managed to rope in my FIL to occupy my toddler DD downstairs while I rest (I'm actually just laying in bed eating a chocolate orange in peace!)

AyeAmarok · 08/11/2016 16:38

I find the hardest thing about doing a sample now is that each one of my wees is approximately a tablespoon!

Aye, same here! All my wee samples get handed to the midwife along with an apology: "sorry, this was all I could manage".

Nuttypops · 08/11/2016 16:55

ChocolateBudgeCake, now that is a very good idea getting FIL to keep DD busy! I like the sound of your version of resting, brilliant! Enjoy.

My Mom offered to come and stay this week (family all live 4 hours+ away from us) to give me a hand with DD as DH is away with work. I stupidly told her I would be fine because I couldn't be bothered having anyone to stay. Why I didn't twig it would have been a lot easier to have my DM around to help/feed us/play with DD I don't know. Regretting that now and looking forward to my parents coming down soon even if I am overdue as at least it will be another pair of hands with DD.

KitKat1985 · 08/11/2016 22:53

At the risk of some of you overdue ladies lynching me, my baby girl arrived today at 37+1 weighing 5 lb 14 oz. We're both fine. Hoping all of you ladies have a swift last few days and easy labours. Sending love. xx
