I've made the new thread, hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes... just wanted to make sure we had one.

Those levels seems good to me. A quick Google suggests they are within the range and not even at the lower end this time. I had really bad cramping early on this time. If you think you might have ovulated late then if wait until 8 weeks for your scan. They say you should be able to see a heartbeat from 7 weeks so if you think you ovulated late then a scan at 8 weeks should be more definitive. If you can't wait that long, go for 7 weeks. I think that sounds positive though.

Thank you whatser. The cramping just made me feel like it couldn't be normal and more miscarriage related. Yesterday I had a stabbing pain which totally took my breath away. It just last seconds though.

Whatsername17 · 09/08/2016 16:57

That sounds like round ligament pain. Did it happen when you stood up? I got it loads and still do. Your levels are encouraging. Try not to worry too much x

doleritedinosaur · 09/08/2016 19:32

That stabbing pain is definitely ligament/stretching I had them around that time. Especially when standing up, it's definitely different from when I had my Mc.

Saw the consultant today who discharged me back to GP but he said my cervix needs to be checked from 14 weeks & he couldn't refer me even though I had to give the same receptionist my discharge form. So ringing midwife tomorrow to sort that out. Appointment seemed like a waste of time as I even told them I was pregnant a few weeks ago.
Makes me glad that if I get to the birth, I'm definitely doing it at home. All the stuff that went on with DS & now chasing midwife about something I've mentioned at least 3 times, I know how much the NHS is struggling but I now just can't trust them.

Okay rant over.

Hope everyone else is okay.

From 8 weeks is good for a scan as more can be seen. It's what I did for this pregnancy.

LuckyinOctober · 09/08/2016 19:58

dolerite it does sound like you've had to go round the houses, what was meant to be the point of your appointment today? It doesn't sound like you got what you expected or wanted.

purple I also had lots of crampy pains in this pregnancy around 5-6 weeks, a lot of them for me turned out to be trapped wind, but stretching pains are common then too.

Tinkly hope you can take it easy tonight and feel better tomorrow.

Macauley · 09/08/2016 20:05

purple bloods sound good! I also had the cramping early on it was either everything stretching or more often than not trapped wind. Trapped wind can give you the fear!

doleritedinosaur · 09/08/2016 20:18

It was the consultant at the miscarriage clinic my GP referred me too before I got pregnant but he said he'd discharge me as I'm now pregnant which I understand.
I was just frustrated as I'd mentioned to my GP & midwife I had cervix checks previously.

It doesn't help after being pregnant with DS I massively struggle with doctors & consultants so didn't want to "fight" with this pregnancy so to speak.

Definitely take it easy Tinkly.

Have the trapped wind again, rolling around on the sofa but DS is asleep & garden doesn't water itself sadly.

Can I join this thread? Just got my BFP today... I'm only 12dpo and already worried! Had a MC in March at 7 weeks. Before today my boobs were sore and today they are not... I know I need to relax and be positive!

purpleviolet1 · 10/08/2016 07:14

Massive congrats jpeg.

Unfortunately mum passed away Sad

jpeg28 · 10/08/2016 07:18

HopefulKate1980 · 10/08/2016 07:47

Welcome jpeg!!! Thrilled you are here. On this thread from the TTC we now have mrs, purple you and me!! How is everyone else over there? Keep thinking I must go and say hello.

Don't worry about your symptoms coming and going so early on. Mine didn't properly appear until 6 weeks. So happy for you. This thread is so brilliantly supportive.

Xxx

jpeg28 · 10/08/2016 07:54

Thanks kate I'm so happy! I'm still lurking on the other thread... I am sure there will be some more BfPs soon!

CocklesandMussels · 10/08/2016 08:27

Hello, just checking in again, it's lovely to read good news about wriggly babies and scan results. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for everyone especially those in the first trimester - it's so so hard.
I'm 26+4 today, the worry doesn't completely go away but it's a bit better now. Like whatser said it's easy just to find other things to worry about (stillbirth, IUGR top my list).
Anyway, I've summoned up the courage to buy a double buggy which is going to stay firmly in its box until babies arrive!
Have a good day everyone and I hope for lots more good news on this thread.

AButterflyLightsBesideUs · 10/08/2016 09:18

Oh purple I am so very very sorry xx Such a hard time to lose your mum too.

I will try and write a proper thread post this evening, but being school holidays I don't seem to get much of a chance to sit down and post. Reading everything though!

Whatsername17 · 10/08/2016 09:31

Congrats jpeg! I remember you from the ttc thread too. I used to be Loki. I'm so sorry for your loss, Purple. Flowers

5tardusty · 10/08/2016 09:56

Wow congratulations jpeg- lovely to see you here Grin. Wishing you a very easy pregnancy

mikesh909 · 10/08/2016 10:00

Oh purple, what sad news. Did this come as a big shock? Not that things are any easier either way. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Congratulations and welcome jpeg!

Cockles you are a few weeks ahead of me. 23+6 here today. I too have given in and started buying a few things. Hope all continues to be well with your little ones.

Tinkly, are you feeling better today?

doleritedinosaur · 10/08/2016 12:15

Awwww purple I'm so sorry for your loss.

Welcome Jpeg, it's good to see you on this thread.

Macauley · 10/08/2016 12:50

So sorry for your loss purple Flowers

AButterflyLightsBesideUs · 10/08/2016 18:57

Thinking of you purple, I hope you have DH with you. Your bloods looked very encouraging yesterday.

whatser another little girl, how lovely Smile I hope that's what your DD wanted! It is most certainly what mine wants, so for that reason alone I'm fingers crossed for pink too as she will take it better! (But obvs I would be over the moon either way - live is the key thing in my mind..)

Tinkly thanks for thinking of me. I'm here ok, absolutely shattered and DD is keeping me v busy hence I get to read the thread on my phone on my loo breaks but never get a chance to post. Apart from tired I've been feeling so non pregnant (not sick/bloated like crazy) that I got carried away yesterday and did masses of lugging around of heavy plant tubs & full watering cans trying to organise and tame my greenhouse jungle. Can I caution folk against heavy lifting? I have been in so much pain since - totally destroyed my back and pelvis (temporarily I trust...). All that wretched relaxin hormone loosening ligaments everywhere. Pain pain pain. It sounds like what you are experiencing too tinkly. For goodness sake be gentle with yourself, lift properly from your legs etc or better yet get other people to do it. If you are properly suffering, see your MW and ask for a physio referral if you suspect PGP. They are usually very quick to see pregnant folk. Maybe try a bath? But only if you are not alone in the house - I very nearly got stuck in mine last night, was so painful trying to get out!

Welcome jpeg and congratulations. We've not "met" but I hope you find this a helpful place to be, sounds like you know lots of the folk already.

Whatsername17 · 10/08/2016 19:20

Dd didn't mind she just really wanted to know. She is thrilled though. I wondered if I or, in particular, dh would be disappointed if baby wasn't a boy because dh was quite desperate for a boy at one time. After everything we have been through we were just over the moon to see a healthy bump. Really hoping and praying it stays that way. I'll second your caution too. Decorating my living room has led to lots of round ligament pain.

LadyLynsey · 10/08/2016 19:49

Hello all. Just to chime in, my back has been agony for days, I think because my stomach is already much rounder and I'm not used to carrying extra weight as such. I'm not very tall so struggle with extra weight.
If we are like this now, what will it be like by the time baby is due?!

Macauley · 10/08/2016 20:03

My goodness all you ladies doing physical tasks. I cough or sit for too long my hips hurt!
