Changed my username again :-/ sorry but at least you know who I am.
I was moaning the other day about fading symptoms and hey presto, I just threw up. This is only the second time so I'm not moaning now!
dino your allowed to have your wobbles, it's natural and we all do it. It's what we're all on here for, to hand hold and support.

Macauley · 30/07/2016 22:08

Scan dates always send me into a bit of a panic dino. It's just the reality of facing up to what's happening I think. It's quite nice living in a bubble of denial.

purpleviolet1 · 30/07/2016 22:15

When is your scan dino? Will be thinking of you.

Hopeful not long to go for yours either.

I've got sore boobs and off my
Food but not exactly nausea. Not feeling hopeful today. Keep trying to think along the lines of 'all being well, I am 4+6 today'. Sorry for being a downer. I think I need to create a thread for 'pregnant but not hopeful'

doleritedinosaur · 30/07/2016 23:45

Thank you everyone, definitely a bubble of denial. I feel that if I think positive and there's no heartbeat it'll be worse and if I don't, I don't know.

Scan is very early Monday morning so 33 hours to go.

Eaten so much this evening but heartburn faded so that's good.

Purple you've now reached 4+6 so soon you will be 5 weeks, so another week down and that is a step closer. & sore boobs is a good sign if an annoying one. I've got my fingers crossed for you.

& thanks again everyone, this thread helps so much.

Macauley · 31/07/2016 03:45

At 4+6 purple I didnt have any symptoms just no period which is why I tested. It was only at about 6/7 weeks I started to get any kind of real difference which for me was sickness.

dino totally normal to feel that way my love. Not long till go and good the scan is early so you won't have all day to think about it.

I've eaten far too much tonight and got heartburn so can't sleep. Plus started having to get up in the middle of the night to pee and not able to get back to sleep!

HopefulKate1980 · 31/07/2016 08:12

My heroes!!! Thanks so much for the holiday advice lucky dino whats and purple

I'll be 8+6 tomorrow purple. Thanks for your prayers. I need them. How are you lovely?

Good luck for tomorrow dino!! How far along are you? Great that you have a v early scan. Will be thinking of you.

Hope you managed to get some sleep mac.

Xxx

Whatsername17 · 31/07/2016 09:02

No symptoms before 9 weeks for me either. Literally none. Just off my food a bit. Boobs kicked in at 9 weeks x

purpleviolet1 · 31/07/2016 09:57

Thanks for the reassurance ladies! Back to work tomorrow after 1.5 weeks off for this infection I had so hopefully back to some routine and keeping busy will help pass the time.

MissClarke86 · 31/07/2016 10:29

Hi ladies. It's my 30th birthday today so I should be relaxing but I'm just anxious about my scan tomorrow! I do wish it could've been before now...

I also tried to take a paracetamol and my gag reflex kicked in and I vommed. Happy birthday to me! Grin

purpleviolet1 · 31/07/2016 12:13

aww mrs unsure I'm so pleased to see you joining us here, you're very welcome. I remember you from the TTC after miscarriage thread and was wondering how you were getting on. One day at a time is a good approach! xx

Happy 30th Birthday Miss Clarke! It's a milestone one, are you doing anything to celebrate it?

Mac I think the amount of detail you get with figures must vary from area to area, as I got the figures. I can see an argument for why it's helpful to just say it's low risk though as it stops fretting and worrying over exactly how low risk "low risk" is. My dentist made an interesting point this week about how for our generation we have much more access to information than previous ones, for her she just had a 12 week scan and there was nothing after that unless something worried them at that, my mum didn't even have any scans at all. I think there is an argument for the less info you get the less there is to worry about. Can't help lapping up any info and analyzing it myself though!

Macauley · 31/07/2016 18:33

I know lucky, I think had I been given figures I know I would have been straight on Google to drive myself crazy with what the numbers mean so probably for the best to just be told low risk!

Happy birthday miss Clarke and welcome mrs unsure Grin

Good luck to everyone with scans tomorrow!

MissClarke86 · 31/07/2016 18:54

Welcome Mrs, I also recognise you from the TTC thread. Congratulations and one step at a time is all we can do! Fingers crossed for you.

I've not done too much in the way of celebrating, but if my scan goes well tomorrow we'll go out for a delayed celebratory birthday meal I think. I'm too anxious tonight to enjoy it!

Bit of a weird one but I feel sick whenever I think about southern fried chicken...or Pokemon Go!? What's that all about? It's like a food aversion without food! I suspect it's something to do with feeling a bit motion sick when I used to play it but literally if anyone mentions it I feel nauseous.

doleritedinosaur · 31/07/2016 20:07

Welcome Mrs! I really hope this one sticks for you.

Happy birthday Miss Clarke! Hope you had a lovely day.

I'll be 8 +4 tomorrow so over 3 weeks further than last time but think I took nearly a month to MC. Not really sure of dates as chemicals before.

Mil is having DS so OH can be with me but I struggle with her sometimes so hoping I'm not too worked up from that. Does mean the house is now clean and tidy hahaha.

Just 12 hours to go. I went for early as I knew waiting wouldn't help plus they tend to run over the later you go.

I definitely know what your dentist means Lucky, my mother had countless MC's and a still birth but doctors weren't sure why. She had progesterone for one sibling. & met someone today who is in 60's and only managed 1 child but my GP said we still barely know anything about infertility.

Hope everyone had a good Sunday.

HopefulKate1980 · 31/07/2016 20:31

Yeah Mrs you are here!!! I can't tell you how brilliant it is to have you here. How you feeling?

Happy birthday Missclarke!

Dino I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. What time is it?

I am nervous as hell for my scan tomorrow. Feel reassured that I threw up my bran flakes this morning but you never know. I am doing all my good luck rituals tonight in preparation! I am sure I'll be in pieces tomorrow.

I had the shock of my life today when I went bikini shopping. Be warned. Do not go bikini shopping while pregnant and on heavy does of progesterone and while you are sticking needles in your tummy on a twice daily basis. I looked like a bloated junkie. NOT pretty.

Have great evenings. Dino I am with you all the way. We'll get through this scans together.

xxx

MissClarke86 · 31/07/2016 20:41

My scans at midday but I do wish it was earlier like yours dino! Fingers crossed for all of us, will be thinking of you ladies.

Good luck for everyone with scans tomorrow. I'll be checking in!

Welcome Mrs Grin

HopefulKate1980 · 31/07/2016 21:17

Oh sorry missclarke!! Didn't realise you are having a scan too tomorrow. Good luck!!!

mrs try not to worry. It's old blood if anything or discharge relating to drugs. Call your doctor if worried. You are going to be here for a long time, I just know it

Xxx

Whatsername17 · 31/07/2016 21:20

Good luck to everyone having g scans. Mrs, get your symptoms checked my the doctor. It could be a simple side effect and the doctor could reassure you. After everything you have been through you deserve a little professional support x

Whatsername17 · 31/07/2016 21:23

I should probably add, I caused myself to bleed at 6 weeks because I kept checking my cervix. It was bright red then brown. If you are having to.insert progesterone daily you are probably irritating your cervix.

purpleviolet1 · 31/07/2016 21:26

I had to use a pessary to treat thrush today.. Tmi but I just didn't push it in too much. As soon as I felt a bit of resistance I stopped. It felt like my cervix was hanging quite low though. Isn't that strange?

LadyLynsey · 31/07/2016 23:43

Good luck to all with scans tomorrow! Mine on Tuesday morning so here's hoping for another good run of good news like a week ago :-)
