Hi expectant ones, I'm 16 weeks pregnant with DC3 - definitely our last - and I want to savour this final experience of having a pregnant body. So please tell me what you love most about being pregnant! Thx

The baby at the end, being pregnant is purgatory.

Uiscebeatha85 · 23/06/2016 19:58

First pregnancy here, nearly 34 weeks. Best thing for me at the minute is that the end is in sight.

OutOfAces · 23/06/2016 19:59

Thick bouncy hair that didn't get greasy like my normal fine lank mop!
Long nails.

SouthDownsSunshine · 23/06/2016 19:59

Feeling the baby move. It's the best feeling ever.

AliceInHinterland · 23/06/2016 20:00

Feeling like a big ship with full sails when I'm walking around and everyone smiling at you.

Mrsantithetic · 23/06/2016 20:03

For me it was them both just being mine.

No one but me knew when they kicked unless I mentioned it and I loved feeling them move about.

Then they came out and I had to share them with everyone but I did really love being pregnant. Even with horrendous Spd that left me on crutches

Glitterspy · 23/06/2016 20:03

Dressing quite differently to normal and totally for comfort

dylsmimi · 23/06/2016 20:06

I love being pregnant - also with my third. I love feeling the baby move. And having a lovely bump (j imagine I am all lovely bump when I am probably just huge)
A whole new wardrobe of clothes!!
Being able to Ohhh over super cute baby clothes without people commenting you are getting broody - too late!!! Grin

windygales · 23/06/2016 20:07

Knowing it doesn't last for ever

FuzzyOwl · 23/06/2016 20:07

Having a bump to stroke and cradle!

Kimononono · 23/06/2016 20:08

Feeling the baby move that's it. I hate being pregnant. Especially when it's summer and I could be drinking summer cocktails in the garden :-(

Salene · 23/06/2016 20:08

Nothing at all, pregnacy is shit. I hate it.

OnePlanOnHouzz · 23/06/2016 20:10

The getting pregnant bit was fun !!! Blush

CharminglyGawky · 23/06/2016 20:10

I'm only 10 weeks with my first but so far the only good things have been knowing that once all this is finally over we will have a baby and the look on my mum's face when I told her.

Of course once the morning sickness is over (dear god I hope this will end) I am hoping to actually enjoy some aspects of being pregnant!

Unthoughtknown · 23/06/2016 20:11

The lovely swishy hair.

AdoraKiora · 23/06/2016 20:11

Feeling the baby move.

Wearing tight clothes around my big belly and not giving a shit (it all changes after birth )

Kimononono · 23/06/2016 20:16

Oh god I'm 21 weeks and dreading that already. My belly was like a deflated baggy balloon/jelly for weeks (sob)

orangebird69 · 23/06/2016 20:23

I did not enjoy pregnancy, I felt so uncomfortable the entire time. I did however look great (if I do say so myself) and my hair was glorious.

frikadela01 · 23/06/2016 20:25

First pregnancy here. 38+2... knowing it will be over by this time next week (I'm being induced). I've hated being pregnant. I don't feel like my body is my own.

PickledLilly · 23/06/2016 20:29

I hate being pregnant. The heartburn, the insomnia, the crippling SPD, all shit. Knowing I only have to go to work for another 11 days doesn't make up for it but it is something I'm looking forward to! Also, eating ice cream rather than permanently being on a diet.

Twinklestar2 · 23/06/2016 20:34

Being able to eat whatever I want Blush

And the baby at the end, of course. Grin

Shortninbread · 23/06/2016 20:50

Feeling baby move is the best bit! I miss it when it's over. It is my first time with morning sickness this third pregnancy. I now understand how crap that is and why so many of you don't like being pregnant.

I'm 18 weeks with DC1 and have HG, so it's been pretty miserable so far.

However:

  • the scan was amazing
  • feeling the baby moving makes me so happy
  • I feel really connected to the baby now, and chat away to it quite a lot Blush I feel like I'm getting to know it!
  • I have a bump now, so I'm finally being offered seats etc --would've been helpful 10
weeks ago when I was unmedicated and being sick 30+ times a day--
  • DH loves the baby as much as I do Smile
ColdTeaAgain · 23/06/2016 20:58

Wearing floaty maternity dresses.
Finishing work and doing fuck all until baby arrives (this obviously only applies when it's your first).

Err....yeah, that's it.

MrsMogginsMinge · 23/06/2016 21:01

Not having to hold my tummy in.
