Wicker the sickness is the worst part for me Sad
I hate being pregnant. Really really hate it. I was vomiting until 28 weeks when I was pregnant with DD, and I'm in the throes of raging sickness at 11 weeks with this pregnancy.

In all honesty, prolonged morning all fucking day sickness was worse than actual childbirth. I would give birth a million times over if it meant I would never be sick again!!

WickerHearts · 17/04/2016 20:25

MyBread same! I had no idea being pregnant was so draining. I'm not too bad through the morning once I've eaten, but come about 2/3ish I start feeling sicky and that lasts into the evening Sad I'm pretty lucky that I've not physically been sick, just feel rather yuk!xx

MyBreadIsEggy · 17/04/2016 20:28

Wicker feeling sick is worse than vomiting though....at least when I vom, I feel like the nausea actually has a point!! Feeling endlessly sick and not actually bringing anything up is so much worse Sad

raddersmrs · 17/04/2016 20:38

When can I expect this sick stuff to kick in??

I'm only 3 + 3..!!

MyBreadIsEggy · 17/04/2016 20:44

radders you might not! You could be one of the lucky ones who doesn't get sick!
I found out I was pregnant this time round at around 5 weeks, and made it to about 7 weeks without feeling sick. Naively I thought I had escaped it.....then it hit me like a bastard freight train Sad

WickerHearts · 17/04/2016 20:57

Radders I was the same, I hit about 6/7 weeks and it really hit me. Hopefully you escape it! How many weeks are you now MyBread?xx

MyBreadIsEggy · 17/04/2016 20:58

Wicker 11 weeks today Smile

raddersmrs · 17/04/2016 20:58

I hope I escape it after reading these comments. I'm worried about coping with work when being so tired. It's a draining job at the best of times.

I'm in for 2 weeks of hell at work now too and really want to not get stressed so it doesn't effect our little bean!

Is there anything else I should know this early on?
It's really not possible to get a false positive is it?

cnchapmanxx · 17/04/2016 21:04

Girls I'm flying to LA on the 16th may so il be about 8 weeks then. I genuinely think in gonna be hit like a train with this sickness!

raddersmrs stop POAS step away haha! Once you get your positive you should be ok. I took 3 todsy for DH as he was in disbelief! For your own peace of mind though u can everyday! XXXX

MyBreadIsEggy · 17/04/2016 21:06

radders a false negative is way more common than a false positive - don't worry Smile

raddersmrs · 17/04/2016 21:21

I did one FRER yesterday morning with faint line, one asda yesterday afternoon with negative and one FRER this morning with darker line. That's all I've Done so far.
I have my morrisons one ready for FMU tomorrow.

Oh no hope you feel ok when you go to LA!
I have a holiday booked in July. Hope I'm ok for that

WickerHearts · 17/04/2016 21:35

Ahh Chapman hope you're ok when you're away.
Yay MyBread, you must be close to having your scan? I think ill be a lot more relaxed once we've seen our little one on the screen with a strong heartbeat.
Radders, would be extremely unlikely to get one false positive, let along 2 Smile

Xx

MyBreadIsEggy · 18/04/2016 07:00

Wicker I had an early scan already at 9 weeks because I had a little bleed (had same thing with DD too), but nothing to worry about - I've got my proper dating scan next Tuesday Grin

cnchapmanxx · 18/04/2016 08:11

Morning girls :))

Thanks wicker I hope so too!
Well I've been up since half 6 this morning, last week I couldn't get out of bed and was going to sleep at like 10!! Not had as much cramping yday as I did on Saturday.. Always worried something is up! :/ this early pregnancy stuff isn't good for my health haha!

How is everyone? Xxx

raddersmrs · 18/04/2016 22:25

I'm good thank you.
I just feel a bit anxious about it all as its so early but I'm guessing that's Normal! Keep thinking AF is going to show up. Would've been officially due tomorrow.

Just been looking at how to announce it to our parents when we do :)

Early scan is booked in for 11th may. I rang doctors and they booked me in at 8 weeks to see the midwife - 24th may.

Noticed more cm today than before - I am CD26 xx

cnchapmanxx · 18/04/2016 22:46

Good stuff raddersmrs I went to my doctors today and he just said.. Congratulations here's some folic acid, and gave me a number for the midwife hahha but they only open 9-10 am so will have to call them tomorrow!
Can I ask how come your booked in so early?
I told my mam and dad today they were over the moon! Not told anyone else though haha!
I have got s lot more cm today! Think that's the mucus plug! Xxx

raddersmrs · 19/04/2016 06:22

The early scan is private and just our choice really. I want to see baby as soon as possible! Once we've had that we will tell our parents.
Bet yours were so excited!

The doctors just said we do the midwife appointment at 8 weeks so that's when they booked me in. I go to my doctors for that.

I don't think I'm too far behind you am I? Think I'm due around 29th December.
Is this your first? X

WickerHearts · 19/04/2016 07:08

I'm still getting more CM than I usually get, think it is just a pregnancy thing. That's good you've got you booking ap sorted Radders, mine isn't until I'm 10+4 weeks! Got it next week :) at the mo they think I'm due 22nd Nov xx

raddersmrs · 19/04/2016 07:39

Having a panic this morning as did supermarket own brand tests and not really coming up with a line. Very faint after 15 mins but def pink.

oH went out this morning and got us some FRER to try again and there's definitely a line on there. It's just not getting darker .... But apparently that's nothing to be worried about?

MyBreadIsEggy · 19/04/2016 08:34

radders as long as there is a line there - no matter how dark - you don't need to worry Smile
When I was pregnant with DD, I got about 4 negative Clear Blue Digitals, but then 2 positive superdrug own brand ones within 2 days. I think the basic link dye tests are better Smile

TweedAddict · 19/04/2016 08:47

Congratulations! I've just found out too, I'm 4+4. With our doctors there is no need to see them unless any issues, it's a straight booking at 8weeks or after.

Have you found this app OVIA it's really good at monitoring the pregnancy plus gives you loads of advice.

Buy this book: www.amazon.co.uk/Expecting-Better-Conventional-Pregnancy-Wisdom/dp/1409152065/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1461052332&sr=8-1&keywords=expecting+better
This takes a scientific look at all do's and don't. It's not really that bad.

Stay active and if possible, do not simply sit on the sofa, stuffing your face with chocolate. Last trimester will be somewhat uncomfortable anyway, but comparing my 2 pregnancies, the one where I didn't put on too much weight was certainly easier.

everybody and their cat will have an opinion about what you should and should not be doing. Smile and nod, do what you want anyway. It's a good practise for the time when baby is here and everybody will have an opinion how you should raise him or her.

cnchapmanxx · 19/04/2016 11:25

raddersmrs aw bless you im so excited but think we will hold out until the 12 wk scan. and yeah it was very good last night then i got that excited i started watching star wars and fell asleep haha!
yes it is my first hun, and due round boxing day maybe! so were very very close!
ive took 4 tests and each one is different strengths depends on your urine how strong it please try not to worry hun!

wicker thats good lovely! bet your so excited xx

Rang the midwife today, booked in for next week at a consultation and a group session. Then thats when i get to get booked in for my dating scan! how exciting xxx

WickerHearts · 20/04/2016 19:20

Hope you ladies are doing ok :)

So I'm finding now that my stomach seems to be expanding already Blush is noticeable in my work uniform and struggling to disguise it. Is this normal for 9+3 in a first pregnancy?! I thought it would be ages until I was starting to show Confused xxx

MyBreadIsEggy · 20/04/2016 20:08

Wicker it will be just bloating Smile I was really bloated and looked pregnant for a few weeks from about 7-10 weeks with both pregnancies. It's all gone now and there's outward clue that I'm pregnant.
I'm feeling a bit better the last few days. The only time I've felt sick is if I haven't eaten often enough!
