Hi,

This is going to sound ridiculous (Blush) but I had the coil removed 31st March to try for our second baby Grin (my periods are clockwork every month on the 20th of each month and it was the no hormone coil had and the nurse said I was fertile from removal). Anyway I've been having unprotected sex since. My period is due next Thursday (20th) but today I've had light pink blood well sort of - it was (TMI) on my knickers and when I wiped although none tonight. Had a few pains in my boobs from time to time through out the day too. I remember feeling weird last weekend but I put it down to stress as I'm about to move house! Anyway could it be implantation bleeding? Again TMI but I've only had sex 3 times since?! So I wouldn't say I've been at it all the time! Just wondering what others experienced and if I'm being a baby zilla as it's not like I've had the coil out months/ been trying ages. Thanks ladies Smile

That's not negative! That's a BFP. Thanks

MrsG32 · 22/04/2016 16:10

No no the negative line is really strong!!! I was in boots so actually shown the pharmacist and she said she would interpret that as negative as the line is so strong! The other line might just be an evaporation line??? Dunno if it's is it's just what I'm reading haha xx

Two lines = BFP!!! How exciting!

Jenjen85 · 22/04/2016 18:34

I'd say it was a positive. Try another one tomorrow but I'd say congratulations is in order Grin

MrsG32 · 22/04/2016 18:39

Seriously ladies do you think so?! My husband doesn't believe it says it's all in my head! My boobs are sore but that's about it. He says mathematically I can't be pregnant? Coil out 31st March and it's only 22nd April now...like if I am I just surely only be a week pregnant?? Xx

When j found out I was pregnant with my dd I took a test, came up negative. We checked a good 5 mins after still negative. I left it on side, carried on getting ready for work and about an hour later I thought I need to throw the test away. I don't know what made my dh do it but he looked again and there was a line...it was so so faint but still a line like yours. We tested like crazy over the nxt few days and it just kept getting darker.

A line is a line..... Massive congratulations to you Flowers xx

MrsG32 · 23/04/2016 08:44

Thanks Louisa! Well yesterday's was really faint but this morning's looks a lot more definite and it was an early predictor one. Guess I just need to keep taking one everyday...

MrsG, you are pregnant! I've just done a due date calculator for you - you are approx. 4+ weeks pregnant with an estimated due date of between 25th (!) - 28th December, depending on usual cycle length. Your due date is calculated from the first day of your last period (20th March).
I'm 7w tomorrow - here's my test pics all taken between 4-5w pregnant, for comparison.

MrsG32 · 23/04/2016 19:18

cnchapman ah yes it's totally 100% more positive for you this week! I feel pregnant as soon as I started having unprotected sex with my first and it looks like the same with this one! Only thing is I have symptoms earlier this time round like the tiredness and change of taste (already can't drink my normal tea and coffee or Starbucks mocha!) and I wasn't like that first time round...during my first pregnancy I suffered chronic sickness I was sick 4-5 times a day for the duration! It was awful...need to brace myself for the next 9 months! Xx

PS What do you mean about the 'negative' line about the test you took in Boots? There is no such thing as a negative line, there's just a control line - and, as far as I am aware, it doesn't matter how dark this line is, it just shows that the test is working.

MrsG32 · 23/04/2016 19:20

Lilydaisyrose thank you so much! My first born's birthday is 28th December Shock we should have thought about that eh?! I honestly thought it would take longer...

I've got 7 tests sitting on top of the microwave so going to take another one in the morning I've got the clear blue digital one...wow your test collection is awesome! Xx

OP posts:
MrsG32 · 23/04/2016 19:23

Yes Lilydaisyrose I didn't realise that the negative line basically just shows you the test has worked! And if there's absolutely nothing in the positive box then you're not pregnant but even if it's the faintest of lines you are. I took that test yesterday midday after about 4 wees but the sainsburys test I took first thing with my first wee and hasn't wee'd for 5 hours. Probably do the same in the morning! I guess it's going to feel like an eternity until I can tell people I'm pregnant...can't believe the due date! Same as my son's! Xx

Expensive December for you!

Come & join us in due in December ante-natal club thread - it's a lovely group.

BrexitentialCrisis · 23/04/2016 19:26

Sorry I have just literally barged my way in after reading your first post op. Congratulations!!!!!! ThanksThanksGrin

I love a happy poas story. I remember the pink dye tests I did for both of my dc's- it was so baffling and nerve wracking.
For the record everyone- there is no such thing as a negative line! It's the control line to check the dye is working properly.

Good luck with everything- sorry for randomly interrupting! X

Bigfam · 23/04/2016 19:28

Hi Chapman! (Waves) I used the sainsburys tests too and they were both positive, exactly like your results, and I've got two dc's born in Dec (along with myself and DP Smile ) come join the December antenatal thread, Chapman's there too. Congrats!

Bigfam · 23/04/2016 19:29

and lily, sorry didn't see you there lovely!

MrsG32 · 23/04/2016 19:31

Don't be silly Brexit it's nice to hear from you thanks for the congrats! By the way how to put the person your message is addressed to in bold?? Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who's supported me since I posted about 10 days ago but especially JenJen she was right all along! X

MrsG32 · 23/04/2016 19:33

When is your due date Lily? Beginning of December? Yes I will do once I believe that baby no 2 is happening...I can't believe it my husband can't either he bought a load of tests today - enough to test every day for a week haha xx

OP posts:
Bigfam · 23/04/2016 19:39

I wasn't very clear in my first post, it was for you mrsg32, about using the same type of test and having nearly identical results & the timing of having birthdays already in Dec. You're very lucky to have conceived so quickly

MrsG32 · 23/04/2016 19:44

Oh sorry Bigfam I probably misread it too! Yeh probably should have planned it better but I genuinely didn't even think it would be straight away...if I'm giving birth on my son's 3rd birthday I will feel guilty! I shouldn't think that far ahead...I've known since the spotting that I've not been right the taste in mouth the change in appetite my body must be very sensitive I.e weak!! xx
