Anyone else think pregnancy is just TOO LONG?

I mean - 40 freakin weeks! I'm only 19+4 today and im already dying of bordem with being pregnant! I spent the first 3 months throwing up, and the last two with exhaustion so extreme its been hard to muster the energy to get up and go pee. And where's my 'pregnancy glow' at, mmmmmm? Anything i say or do gets blamed on my damn hormones now, apparently pregnant woman aren't allowed to have real feelings anymore, it's all down to hormones you know. And i spent most of xmas and new years being told i was fat by drunk relatives.
I've given up smoking, drinking, and eat better now and take vitamins for bean, and im trully tired of being pregnant at the mo. Have my 20 week scan on the 8th which im sure i'll love, but what then? Here - get fatter, have some swollen ankles, or how about a pair of leakin tits, could i interest you in a bladder you can no longer control? I mean, all this is yet to come. How in gods name do people last 40 weeks! I know i should be enjoying it, but truthfully, how do you?

No it is a bit of a scam when us Frenchies say it's 41 weeks. They don't measure from the same point. They actually take the start day of your pregnancy 1 week after the first day of AF, so in effect it still becomes 40 weeks, but for an ex-pat obviously we count that week before. It all evens out in the end as in the UK they'll usualy let you go 2 weeks over, but here it is only 1 week over, so both become max 42weeks.

My due date here is the 25th May, if I was in the UK it would be 18th May according to all the due date predictor charts? So it does feel like an extra week.
