If you had morning sickness, how soon did it start?!

I'm day 21/22 of my cycle and we are TTC. For the last few days I have been feeling really sick! Is it too soon to have morning sickness when I haven't even tested yet?

For those of you who did have morning sickness, when did it start? Has anyone else felt like this and then found out they were pg? I didn't really have any nausea or sickness last time around.

I won't be online much today but I will try to and check back as soon as I can. I appreciate all your replies!

the day after my positive test with DS and the week after with DD

bear in mind, although some women do get very early sickness..there are a vomiting bug and various others going around at the moment.....

each pregnancy is different though x

StrawberrySnowflakes · 03/01/2007 09:10

at 4-5 weeks.bloody awful all day sickness!

TheBlonde · 03/01/2007 09:13

With DS I was sick at least a week before AF due
With current pg sickness started later

MrsBeee · 03/01/2007 09:46

well i was wondering whether it could be a tummy bug, but the nausea goes as soon as i have something to eat? I haven't actually been sick yet either.

honestly? 7 days after conceiving and stopped on delivery.

eidsvold · 03/01/2007 09:59

with dd1 around 7 weeks, dd2 around that time, no3 - around 8 weeks or so.

nannynickers · 03/01/2007 10:25

For me sickness started at 5 weeks and ended up with Hyperemesis (HG). Hope it get's better for you & congratulations!

paulaplumpbottom · 03/01/2007 11:07

Around ten days after conception

GillL · 03/01/2007 11:30

I'm 7 weeks pg and have been feeling sick for about 2 weeks. When I was pg with dd (21 months) I think it lasted about 6 weeks or so but it can last up to 20 weeks (according to a book I was reading yesterday).

madmarchhare · 03/01/2007 11:34

Yep, felt sick immediately, well before af.

Both with ds and subsequent m/c.

Resulted in v bad hyperemesis though.

frazzledazzle · 03/01/2007 11:41

With ds1+2 felt sickat around 6 weeks.
With my current pregnancy started to feel sick well before af but it hasn't been any worse overall than the other 2.

beansontoast · 03/01/2007 11:43

with me it started about a week before i was due on (with other symptoms aswell like feeling exhausted at four pm)...but it really kicked in at about 5-6 weeks.

buffythenappyslayer · 03/01/2007 11:46

with all of mine around 4-5 weeks.its a good sign (apparently) if it starts early (have a friend thats a midwife)and lasted all way through with each of them.

we have been ttc and ive been feeling abit strange, woke up this morning feeling extremely sick!af due today,so ive got my fingers crossed!

you never know mrsbeee,it might be twins!!good luck!!

Myfairone · 03/01/2007 11:49

I felt weird from conception with really sore boobs and just felt faint and dizzy. Sickness started at 6weeks and is still continuing!

Good luck!

fireflyxmasfairylights2 · 03/01/2007 11:49

I was sick with both my pregnancies before I had even tested!! So probably a few days post conception! And the sickness continued for the pregnancy

LieselVonGiftwrapp · 03/01/2007 12:29

I was sick before testing, have been sick every day since and am now 12+ weeks

BadHair · 03/01/2007 12:30

Approx. 4 weeks all 3 times. Went off at around 17 weeks with dses 1 and 2 but am still vomiting for England now at 22 weeks.

MrsBeee · 03/01/2007 15:38

well i was wondering if all this is down to excitement, but have definitely been feeling really dodge all day (until I have something to eat) and I am soooooo knackered. I was dreading feeling tired with a next pregnany and a very active toddler to contend with, but to feel feel sick too! how do people manage??!!

As for twins buffythenappyslayer that would be a NIGHTMARE! lol! (although strangely my mum always jokes she thinks I will have twins - we have NO family history though!)

Three weeks - it started the day after I tested and ended up as hyperemesis that didn't stop until dd was born.

Piffle · 03/01/2007 15:44

With dd -5 wks exactly with dd hyperemesis that continues til 27 weeks before coming under a bit of control.
Both other times - boys(I'm 29 wks with a boy) mild queasiness from 6 wks, one or two bad days then gone.
Never anythign before af due though
But for me it was boobs, boobs boobs

FurryFox · 03/01/2007 15:47

I was the same as nannynickers, started at 5 weeks and turned out to be hyperemesis. DD was 17 months y'day and have just started ttc again, hoping I'm not so sick next time and at least not for 5 months. Good luck MrsBeee, hope it is morning sickness, iyswim?

FurryFox · 03/01/2007 15:50

I thought my HG for five months was bad enough, you poor ladies that suffered with it throughout you pg, I salute you!
