lulumama · 02/01/2007 19:57

ShinyHappyStarOfBethlehem · 02/01/2007 19:58

Like a feather boa, a walking stick and a bowler hat?

Good luck LTH!

LadyTophamHatt · 02/01/2007 19:58

Not sure really, never had ashow with the Ds's until I was in full scale labour.

Not the usual discharge I've been having though

lulumama · 02/01/2007 20:02

you never know!

what did they say re the cervix in your notes ,and engagement and presentation of baby?

FrostyTheSnowMarsLady · 02/01/2007 20:02

LTH... are you just trying to get in on the act with UrbanDryad and JodieG1 hmmmmm?

lol

LMAO at the thought of the bowler hat!

LadyTophamHatt · 02/01/2007 20:03

More bloody/streaky discharge than jelly.

He couldn't reach my cervix appaernetly...even though it felt like he was climbing up there with hob nail boots

OP posts:
lulumama · 02/01/2007 20:03

so did he stretch and sweep or just rummage!!

FrostyTheSnowMarsLady · 02/01/2007 20:04

Blimey.... looks like we'll be here a long time tonight luladoula! Cancel sleep! lol

LadyTophamHatt · 02/01/2007 20:04

Cervix was 50% efaced{ep??) but still posterior.

My cervix is always posterior because the GP alwasy has trouble down there doing a smear.

FrostyTheSnowMarsLady · 02/01/2007 20:06

blimey LTH..... should be getting an announcement sooner rather than later then! lol

LadyTophamHatt · 02/01/2007 20:06

He gave it a bloody good try Lulu.

to quote him "I can't reach our cervix because my fingers aren't lomg enough"

But he really was trying very hard to reach, I was half way up the wall!!

OP posts:
Miaou · 02/01/2007 20:06

oooooh .....

LadyTophamHatt · 02/01/2007 20:06

what does 50% efaced mean??

OP posts:
Kaybeee · 02/01/2007 20:07

Efaced means when your womb thins out. So looks like shouldn't be long!

2HappyNewYear · 02/01/2007 20:09

Sheesh, at this rate we'll be able to keep the "I'm in labour" thread going for the whole of January!!

lulumama · 02/01/2007 20:10

yes..effacement is good !!

50 % effaced is excellent !

will prepare for no sleep!

LadyTophamHatt · 02/01/2007 20:15

Oh...ok...don't understand how he felt that but wasn't able to do the sweep properly but I won't grumble.

The braxtons have been coming with early labour type pains for a day or 2 now so maybe......

lulumama · 02/01/2007 20:21
