who actually enjoys sex in pregnancy??

I want to know! I just seem to have lost it.

This is our fourth and it's been a rough time the first three months... Exhaustion too but I don't want to keep putting our love life on hold.

This made me snort with laughter!!! Last time we didn't have sex for the whole time.. This time we've had a couple of goes... It's nowhere near as much fun.. I'm too big and it's too awkward.

Have you been watching catastrophe on 4?? They seem to have loads of brilliant pregnat sex!!

Up until 7 months it was definitely off the cards but after that I was super horny but it felt too wrong to do it. We tried and he could feel her head!

I had to resort to DIY and even had to do this at the hair dresser one day! Sadly this feeling left and hasn't returned since I gave birth 11 months ago lol

In my first pregnancy I still wanted sex the whole way through. In my second pregnancy I didn't want ti even be touched let alone sex from conception til birth! Had zero sex drive the entire time. DD is now 2 weeks old and my sex drive has come back majorly (I am relieved, I was worrying it never would!)

We both totally went off it as soon as we got the pregnancy test result, both times.
When I had my postnatal check at 6 weeks we would have a bit of celebratory sex. Then the colic set in and there was nowt else for a year or so.
When the DC started school we would go crazy.
When the DC became teenagers and refused to go to bed by 9pm, and starting coming home all hours, it got scarce again.
Then we moved the teenagers downstairs and ourselves upstairs and had chandeliers fitted!
Sex drive is a strange thing.

I think once the sickness had passed my sex drive seemed to go through the roof.

With all 5DC I always carried lots of water and had bigger babies so once past 20 weeks I found being on my side when we had sex was the best position for me.

When I've felt like that in the past I've found just having skin contact can really help.Having a lovely foot massage,my legs massaged or a nice back massage all helped when I've been feeling rubbish.

Pooshy- I haven't had the confidence to DIY in years... Prior to having kids. How sad.

I've posted in the other thread too, I literally feel like I have no confidence to no energy!

Hated it until somewhere towards the end of the second trimester both times.

Then got my mojo back in a big way, but we couldn't wait until bedtime (would be snoring), so had to grab it at al sorts of odd times of the day Grin.
(On all fours if feeling energetic or on side if not Wink).

With my first pregnancy I went totally off it from the word go and didn't have sex the entire time.

Ten years later and second pregnancy and I was like some huge hormonal sex pest!!! Poor dh! Luckily for him he loved me being pregnant etc and we had sex nearly every day right up to the day ds was born.

I have no idea if it's true but I wonder if the fact my first pregnancy was a girl and second a boy had anything to do with it - I felt so different with ds, maybe the testosterone!? All I thought about was sex!

My sex drive went up during pregnancy both times (one boy, one girl) but we're all different. It's really not a big deal if you don't fancy it, your body is busy enough making a baby right now!!

I was very interested once morning sickness wore off.

Unfortunately DH went into full-on protective fathering mode as soon as he saw the blue line on the pregnancy test. Both times!

With DS it didn't die off at all - i was so excited it just transferred into sexual energy lol!
Roll forward three years with a toddler and full time job.... not so much!
I'm 8 weeks now and this time my hormones are absolutely mental - some days i can't get enough - other days i want to hit DH - I actually called him FAT the other week. (he's really not!)
Last time we did it i really enjoyed it and then I burst out crying immediately afterwards, i was inconsolable. I think that may have put him off for a while - oops :-/

I go completely off it until about 18 weeks and after that I'm back on - and it's better as well, more intense than non pregnancy sex, I presume because of all the blood flow to the area!

Never really enjoyed sex anyway but suddenly, since about 28 weeks, I've definitely developed an increased interest in it. Such a shame that a wriggly baby is turning my dh off so much.

Ahhhhh can I have a little moan about pregnancy sex?!

Currently 33 weeks, DH and I have a very active sex life - used to be multiple times a day, now nearly every night but i've totally lost my sex drive lately. I either feel fat, tired or achey and thats just not sexy is it! Luckily DH understands but I still feel crap about it, my mind wants sex but my body is screaming 'Touch me and die!!' Grin

I'm currently 20 weeks with DC2 and have been patiently waiting for my sex drive to return but no sign of it yet!!

My DH seems to be finding me more attractive then ever but I just can't face it!
