At what week did you have your first DC without induction eg 38 + 5, 40+3 etc? I'm interested to see how late people went?

42+5! However, I did go in for induction at 42 weeks on the nose.

spanisharmada · 29/10/2015 13:37

Ah Lady are you still waiting? I was actually just thinking of you and going to message to see how you were doing.
I went 5 days over, 10 days over and 3 days over.
Have you had any sweeps? One way or another LO will be here by end of next week, the ends in sight Smile

spanisharmada · 29/10/2015 13:38

Snossidge · 29/10/2015 13:41

Everythinggettingbigger · 29/10/2015 13:46

40+5....went into labour on the Saturday morning (40+3) he wasn't born until Monday afternoon.....had first contraction straight away after 3rd sweep! Guessing from one of the posts you are nearing or close to your date? Congratulations and good luck Grin

Ladypug · 29/10/2015 13:58

Hi Spanish, Yep still waiting and gone past 41 weeks now. Just wondering what the likelihood is of avoiding induction lol

Theonethatgotaway772 · 29/10/2015 14:02

41+4 with both

LemonBreeland · 29/10/2015 14:03

39 weeks with DS1. Not much help I'm afraid

NewMrsX · 29/10/2015 14:28

I'm interested in this too. 38+5 today and so fed up already. Can't imagine how I'll feel if I go over!

sugar21 · 29/10/2015 14:38

DD1 38 weeks + 1
DD2 37 weeks+ 3
Waters broke first with both and both were relatively quick labours.

kd83 · 29/10/2015 14:53

Bang on my original due date (after 4 days in labour)

CoodleMoodle · 29/10/2015 14:54

40+6. Was waiting on the ward for induction (pre-eclampsia) but went into labour on my own. Could even have been in labour before that. Had to have my waters broken though!

overthemill · 29/10/2015 14:58

36 and 2 days. lucky as 2 previous labours stopped - 26 and 32 weeks

Jelly101 · 29/10/2015 14:59

40+4 Smile

FattyNinjaOwlBecameAZombie · 29/10/2015 15:00

First 40+3
Second 40+1
Third 41+3

Ladypug · 29/10/2015 15:02

Ok this is interesting, about 35-40% had it either where I am now or shortly afterwards, this makes me feel better

louisejxxx · 29/10/2015 15:03

With ds I was 35+5 (extenuating circumstances), then dd was 40+5

HeteronormativeHaybales · 29/10/2015 15:03

First was 38+0. I subsequently had two 41+ weekers, the latter of which was induced.

kaymondo · 29/10/2015 15:14

DS1 - 42 + 2, was induced at 42 weeks but didn't work and ended up with section

DS2 - 41 weeks, elective section when I didn't go into labour naturally. I was willing to try for a VBAC but didn't want to be induced again so consultant compromised with section at a week overdue if nothing had happened by then.

Just pg with DC3 but this will def be a planned section at 39 weeks if not earlier.

Went into labour (latent - contractions started) at 40+4. DD was born bang on 41 weeks. (Oh you better believe it was a long few days!)

Jeezimacasalinga · 29/10/2015 16:31

39 + 2
38
38 + 2

From my recollection of family and friends, I'd say most go over, especially with their first....
