At what week did you have your first DC without induction eg 38 + 5, 40+3 etc? I'm interested to see how late people went?

40+5 for me

My lovely sister in law has just had her second DD today, at 41+ 3 Smile

Dixiechick17 · 29/10/2015 16:50

40+5, but if I go by my actual conception date which matched up with my first early scan I was bang on what would have been my due date had the 12 weeks scan not decided differently.

Sighing · 29/10/2015 23:47

38
38
No induction / c-sections.
No medical conditions. It's a bell curve around the due date Grin

All of mine were spontaneous labours at 39+2, 40+5 and 39+2 again.

I've a friend with 4 DC, and she was over 41 weeks with all of them. She fought off induction with the last one as her history suggested she always goes over. I think she had him at 41+6 eventually, without being induced.

MrsGentlyBenevolent · 30/10/2015 04:38

I was 41+3, he arrived the day I was meant to begin the induction process if things hadn't moved by themselves. I knew I'd 'beat the induction' though, as had been in stop/start labour since 41 weeks exactly.

Ladypug · 30/10/2015 08:49

Oooh I'm 41+3 today, fingers crossed MrsGently!

Labour started at 40+4, born 40+6

Twoseventhsaweasley · 30/10/2015 09:07

DS1 was born at 42+ 1 after a three day induction

DS2 arrived all of his own accord at 41 weeks.

Hang in there Lady. Your lovely baby will be here soon and all of this will not matter one bit.

PotteringAlong · 30/10/2015 09:09

I was induced at 42 weeks with ds1. Ds2 was spontaneous labour at 41
+5

40+8 with DS, currently 40+6

ProfessorPickles · 30/10/2015 09:19

40+3, I woke up to a gush of fluid. Thought I'd wet myself! I sat up to go dry myself off and another big gush Grin
I had to stand in the shower cubicle for quite some time!

wickedlazy · 30/10/2015 09:31

Ds was born by emergency c-section 5 days early. I went into labour 8 days early, he got stuck in my pelvis though. Nearly died in process. Every midwife I met told me I couldn't do it (height related) but obstetrician said it would be fine, and to give it a go. Guess who I'll listen to in future pregnancies! (If there are any).

Flingingmelon · 30/10/2015 10:54

40 + 3

ChicaMomma · 30/10/2015 13:25

39+2, came as a HUGE surprise as my mum and sister both went 10 days over on all 5 pregnancies so i naively assumed i'd be the same.. not so! had only finished work 2 days beforehand!!
