Wow things are getting tough now. Am experiencing the following:

Lack of sleep
Increased heartburn
Agonising back pain
Shooting vaginal pains
Pain walking
Menstrual style cramps
Hormonal
Nausea
Frequent gas
Diarrea
Constant urination
Braxton Hicks and strong movement

Please tell me this won't carry on for another 3 weeks, I have to be close, right? It hurts to walk, stand, sit, can't sleep etc. I'm 3/5 engaged and feeling strong intense movements too. What are the chances labour is close?

I feel your pain.. this must have been the worst weekend of my pregnancy. Think I have yet another UTI waiting for walk in clinic to open at 8am :(

My last pregnancy I had no pains and went in for a c-section on the date asked. Feel like this time I might not make it till the c-section date. I hope this baby comes soon!

Ladypug · 04/10/2015 03:58

God it's horrid isn't it? I'm thinking come on, this must be the start of it... It must be!!!

It is!! I really must be starting soon :(

I've tried pacing up and down the living room as lying down don't work. I'm in so much pain I'm tempted to ring MAU but not sure they can do anything.

Ladypug · 04/10/2015 10:21

I really hope we're close, I'm not sure if these are "labour is imminent" signs or just "welcome to late pregnancy, enjoy the ride!" signs! :-(

How far are you?
It sounds depressingly normal. I'm getting lots of it at 33 weeks.

SoontobeMommyof2 · 04/10/2015 10:41

Well I spent a few hours at the hospital.. yes I am having pains but been sent home to rest and they reckon I'll be back later.

Hope yours hurrys up too for you :)

I'm 37+2

Ladypug · 04/10/2015 10:42

OMG so you're going into labour?! Wow! So excited for you!!! :-) ps I'm 37 + 3 :-)

Ladypug I clicked on your thread because i feel I could have typed it myself. I'm 36 +4 and today is offically the worst day - I use one of those long u-shaped pillows at night and so lay happily on my right side, rolled over onto back in the night and left my leg behind! Result - a twisted, sprained thigh and using a 'Nanny McPhee' style (DH called it that....he's now doing dinner tonight) walking stick to get about.
I didn't expect pregnancy to be fun but this is just mean so I give my full sympathies and support to all those in the same boat because it's just pants.

Hi Poocatcher, I'm 37 + 3 and it's really stepped up in symptoms in past 48 hours hence me thinking maybe something is happening! But probably just wishful thinking :-(

Ladypug · 04/10/2015 16:14

Hi Sophia,

Oh god that sounds horrid! It's really pants isn't it? I just want it all over now, not sure I can make it to term, it's getting hard!

Could be something happening...but it does sound quite normal for late pregnancy (sorry!).

I felt like this from about 37 weeks with DC1. He was born at 42+5 (again, sorry! Grin).

Ladypug · 04/10/2015 17:03

Oh no! Angie lie to me!!!

Iloveonionchutney · 04/10/2015 17:07

I'm 39 weeks today and have most of that still, except heartburn thank goodness! I was 2/5 engaged Tuesday and have loads of pressure down below but no big signs of anything happening yet Sad

Ladypug · 04/10/2015 17:18

From today I have colostrum coming out of my boobs too...that must mean something, surely?!

SoontobeMommyof2 · 04/10/2015 17:48

I'm still at home nothing is any worse but got no better.

Yeah they told me to stand trying to hand express from this week but that can bring on labour. Have you been advised to?

PotteringAlong · 04/10/2015 17:50

If you're 37 weeks you've potentially got another 5 weeks! My first was born at 42+1 and my second at 41+5. Better hunker down!

Ladypug · 04/10/2015 18:43

Thanks pottering, that's depressing! Midwife reckons it will come sooner rather than later so I'm going with her version!!!

PotteringAlong · 04/10/2015 19:04

Do! The last 5 weeks of both my pregnancies were a killer! Fingers crossed yours is over in 48 hours Grin

Ladypug · 04/10/2015 19:21

Oh god, I'm telling myself it will all be over in 2 weeks max. Just nod and go along with it hehe

LibrariesGaveUsP0wer · 04/10/2015 19:24

Yeah. I was like that at 37 weeks.

Right up to nearly 42....

Sorry

poocatcherchampion · 04/10/2015 19:44

Every night think this is the night.....

My second came at 37+3 if that helps.... Grin

People keep telling me I won't last another 6 weeks and it makes me want to scream. I'm not exactly hoping for a premature baby! Uncomfortable doesn't mean its coming. it just means it hates you Grin rant rant grumble

I'm 38 weeks today. Had a show, had constant period pains for 2 weeks and now have so much pressure I can barely stand up! Fed up is an understatement :(( not to mention random bouts of sickness! Midwife has got my hopes up by saying any day now, but I have a feeling I am going to go over now Angry

Iamnotloobrushphobic · 06/10/2015 10:51

Hi ladypug , I have been on the October bus thread and recognise your name from there. I too am fed up and in constant pain and unable to sleep. My leg has given out on me several times when walking and my pelvis is in agony when I walk around. I am 38+6 today and I am hoping baby arrives sooner rather than later. The midwife has said they won't induce until 12 days Overdue and I'm not sure that I can cope for that long. My bump is enormous and I am measuring at 41 weeks but I am only 1/5 engaged (but apparently most third timers don't normally engage until labour has started).
