Last night I discovered this upon wiping at around 10:30pm
Since then when wiping I have a small amount of brown discharge. This morning it is still their. I have checked internally and the blood looks like very old blood.
I found out I was pregnant Monday confirmed all week by home preg tests .
My period was due at the earliest tomorrow which would of made this cycle 35 days and my last six cycles have been 44 42 38 41 37 35 so could be even later than that I'm not sure. So I don't see how this can be breakthrough bleeding as even though ive only tracked the last six cycles i dont think ive ever has a 33/34 day cycle. Scared of a chemical as I found out so early.
Had an argument with the bf about it as his not concerned at all.
What shall I do? I've taken the day off work, I took the day off yesterday to go to the doctors and now this.
I can't keep taking days off.

Thanks. It's just blood like that. I havnt passed any clots or tissues. Still going on today though . Yep I know they can but since the bleeding started they have been getting stronger, Thursday was a weaker line and now the line is nearly as dark as the control line .
How can it get darker if I'm miscarrying . I understand they could stay the same not sure how they can get darker though.
Glad yours Wasnt a mc.

I also have a mild back ache today as well.

threenotfour · 14/07/2015 10:26

Had slightly less bleeding than this with DC1 and all was fine. Had an early scan and all stopped and progressed as normal.

Had a lot more bleeding than that with DC2 and again all was fine. Had an early scan and continued for about 3 days but then stopped and all progressed as normal.

Try not to panic yet. Hope all is well today.

Emmalbae · 14/07/2015 10:29

Thanks. Glad all went well with you,
Still bleeding, 5th day really scared nothing I can do until next Thursday though. Terrified doesnt even describe it.

Don't test any more, it doesn't mean anything unfortunately, you'll just drive yourself even madder.

Waiting is terribleThanks Brew

Moreisnnogedag · 14/07/2015 10:47

Oh Emma try to stop testing you're tormenting yourself. Its so hard and anxiety-inducing. Is there anything you can do to fill your day? Worrying isn't going to change the outcome but it's dreadful for your mental health. Does the garden need weeding or a room need sorting? Is there a movie you really want to go see? Allow yourself 15 mins to worry and fret and then aim to distract yourself for two hours. If you start to ruminate remind yourself that you're not allowed to think about it till the next 'worry time'.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 14/07/2015 11:01

Hi Emm glad the tests are nice and dark but sorry you are still bleeding.

I've still got my fingers crossed for you. Very best of luck

Emmalbae · 14/07/2015 18:08

Thanks. not as much blood yesterday so horrible knowing my baby could be dead :(
i know it means nothing but if hcg was lowering how have they got stronger since thursday ? if you mis carry surely they cant get stronger they must stay the same can someone explain this i know the hormone can stay but i struggle to see how it can keep getting stronger?

I work 8-5 which helps but once im home im in tears until bed time. I play games on the computer to try and distract my self and i have my partner for company but im loosing it badly.

How are you today?

Emmalbae · 16/07/2015 21:31

Not to good Hun thanks for asking.
This is my bfp from today ( strong one )
This is it when the bleeding started a week ago much lighter. So I've been bleeding all week and I'm still getting an even stronger positive after a week of bleeding. It came up as soon as the urine hit the strip to.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 16/07/2015 21:36

Sorry you are still bleeding. It does sound like your hcg levels are still increasing.
Still got my fingers crossed for you

Emmalbae · 16/07/2015 21:40

Is their any chance this is still normal after a week? It is only when I wipe and doesn't get in my undies or on a pad.
People said you can't go by test lines but surely they wouldn't get darker whilst bleeding if I was miscarrying? Thanks for your positivity .

It's ok don't worry about it I had this for the first 4 months of pregnancy as if it was a period. I'm now 6 days from due date and my baby is perfectly healthy Smile

scarednoob · 16/07/2015 22:05

It really could be either. Your hormones can carry on even if the baby hasn't, and you can bleed and be fine. I really really don't think the constant testing is doing you any good - it's not going to give the definitive answer you want, unfortunately :(

Roll on thu for you, keeping everything crossed for good news.

Emmalbae · 16/07/2015 22:13

I understand they can but their not just carrying on. Their getting darker as the bleeding continued. They wernt this dark a week ago as seen in photos.I know they can carry on but surely they can't increase if your loosing a baby?
Thanks everyone for the luck

Hi Emm how are things today. Any change in the bleeding?

Emmalbae · 18/07/2015 10:35

Hi thanks for asking.
The bleeding stopped friday and i still have none today so i think bubba is probably alive and well but i know i still have to prepare to hear otherwise.

also i now have a cb 3+ and a lot stronger bfp than last Thursday. last Thursday when it started it was really faint now its slightly darker than the control line and comes up instantly. last week it was taking a few minutes to really show and cb was 2-3 last week. so i think i will be ok. just cant wait to hopefully see a little heartbeat on Thursday hopefully.

OP posts:
Emmalbae · 18/07/2015 10:37

the bleeding never got more than i was wiping and never hit my pad and after the first wipe last thursday which was red it was brown or light brown with mucus. so hoping im ok.

im still burping and have huge dark circles under my eyes under my eyes despite hours of sleep but i have no symptoms really i wouldn't be able to tell i was pregnant i feel fine in my self so without testing wouldnt just think id had a longer cycle again

Sallycinnamum · 18/07/2015 10:43

OP, I had the most horrendous bleed early on with my first DC. The bleeding went on for two weeks and I thought that was it.

Had a scan at 9 weeks and hey presto, the heartbeat was strong and very visible on the screen.

I can still remember the absolute terror of those 14 days especially as I lost all symptoms at one point, only for them to come back with a vengeance later on in my pregnancy.

I'm sure all is ok!
