What would you do? Bleeding 3-4 weeks pregnant [graphic image warning added by MNHQ]

Last night I discovered this upon wiping at around 10:30pm
Since then when wiping I have a small amount of brown discharge. This morning it is still their. I have checked internally and the blood looks like very old blood.
I found out I was pregnant Monday confirmed all week by home preg tests .
My period was due at the earliest tomorrow which would of made this cycle 35 days and my last six cycles have been 44 42 38 41 37 35 so could be even later than that I'm not sure. So I don't see how this can be breakthrough bleeding as even though ive only tracked the last six cycles i dont think ive ever has a 33/34 day cycle. Scared of a chemical as I found out so early.
Had an argument with the bf about it as his not concerned at all.
What shall I do? I've taken the day off work, I took the day off yesterday to go to the doctors and now this.
I can't keep taking days off.

Also lost my symptoms to. I was burping loads and havnt at all today plus the creamy cm is gone and I'm dry on the outside. Was very wet the last week.

Oh poor you op. This is bring back a lot of memories of just how stressful early pregnancy is.

I agree with the earlier poster who said it sounds like breakthrough bleeding not implantation.
Nothing in your posts makes me think you are losing it.

Aww thank you it's nice to hear you don't think I am. No pain today but still brown blood inside and sometimes when wiping especially if I'm moving around I notice it more.
Can it be breakthrough bleeding ? I was expecting my period any time from today to mon 20th (irregular cycles ) and this started a couple days before is it normal to get breakthrough bleeding a bit early hoping its that or just my uterus stretching and moving slighlty which has caused old blood to come out.

It's horrible knowing you could mis carry, I Allready feel so attacked to something that's heart is not even beating yet, it's crazy.

Also this morning I got the darkest line I've even seen on a preg test. Surely that has to be a good sign ? The line came up Straight away to. Surely I can't be miscarrying.

It's encouraging! In my first 9 weeks I had two shows of brown blood. It's so scary. Can you get an appointment to get some bloodwork done at your GP's?

How long did your shows last ? Mines still going on today.
Also the first wipe Thursday might was red blood but since then been brown old blood. Is this likely to be breakthrough even though period due today - mon 20th.
Early pregnancy is such a worry I never understood.

Ah op poor you. I had something similar but around 6 weeks. I went to epu on advice of Doctor. It wasn't good news for me and I did miscarry a few days later but this doesn't mean the same for you. 2 friends have had early bleeds and all has been fine they have lovely babies now. If you do end up miscarry img you will conceive again quickly I'm sure - I conceived straight after and am due any moment!

Did you have cramps ? I have no pain was the blood the same as mine?

Emma if you're not cramping that's a good sign. Can I ask a TMI question? What's the consistency of the brown blood? My first show was just a day. Second show was over a couple of days.

I had a few mild period pains, it actually took me 6 days to start bleeding heavily after the red spotting but a) I was a little further on than you b) you haven't had any pain or discomfort which is a good sign. Horrible that you have to wait but there's probably not much anyone can tell you yet as it would be so early.

Hi OP. As everyone has said there's really nothing you can do but wait at this point, but just to try and reassure you, I had bleeding at about 5 weeks gone, the week after my bfp. I had no pain, a small amount of red blood and then brown blood for a while. It escalated into more red blood and a few small clots, but an early scan at 6 weeks found a heartbeat and my 6 month old is now rolling about on his playmat in front of me!

Batman- the consistency is like creamy cm when I check internally.
Slightly confused -I'm so sorry about your loss. I've only had one lot of red blood rest has been brown and only when wiping. None noticed on a pad yet.
Lamppost- that's a really positive story so glad it went well for you. Hopefully it will for me.

I have felt the odd twinge where my uterus would be but it's a lot less than period pain would be as well. Barely noticeable but very scary.

I also don't feel pregnant like I did Wednesday something just feels different. Lost the burping symptom I had as well.I did have some mild tummy discomfort before the bleeding as well.

Mild tummy twinges every so often now.
Really frightened this will turn back I'm 99 per cent sure Ill miscarry very soon.

Try not to panic Emmal there isn't much you can do, it all could be fine. Have a cuppa, meet a friend, read a book. Try as best as you can to not think about it too much. In the meantime sending you hugs

Cramping is not necessarily a bad sign. I had period like pain for weeks early on, its quite normal.

I'm really struggling. This afternoon I've been in bed going between crying, googling and sleeping. I just can't focus on anything else.
This is really difficult.

Also could the fact that I've been checking the blood internally be making it worse ?

Emma, I know it is hard not to worry but please try to relax and calm down. As others have said you will just have to wait and see, also stop checking internally just wipe normally from now on!

I just had another thought before the bleeding started I had been checking internally a lot ( natural worrier ) and I was trying to check what type of cm I had. Maybe I've irritated my cervix.

My head knows only time can tell but I'm distraught .
