Missed period!

My period is due today and hasn't come, I had unprotected sex 11 days ago.. Is it too soon to do a pregnancy test? I bought one the other day and don't want to do it too early and get a false negative advice please shall I wait for it to be 2 weeks since I had sex?

No idea why you'd not just test... Tests are 2/£1 at the poundshop or 15/£3 on Amazon!

Well I've bought a clearblue test that cost £13 pound

I used one of those before my period was due is it a conception indactor one? and it came back positive and I tested in the afternoon too and then I also bought cheaper tests to confirm. I think you are likely to get an accurate result if your period is late but are you nervous about doing it :)

I know it is typical haha and I'm at work today anyway all day till 8 o'clock tonight so will have to get one Tuesday now as bank holiday tomorrow and working again will let you all know how it goes x

I can't cope with not knowing it's driving my crazy now! But if I haven't had a period by end of the week I'm going to doctors to get a blood test instead of a hpt so will keep you all updated it's now been 5 days since I've missed my period the chances of me being pregnant is pretty high would of had my period by now

Why will you be asking for a blood test rather than doing HPT?

This whole thread is a wind up surely - how many days later since original post and there is no resolve yet OP not be able to cope not knowing - i don't have time to buy a test either but if i needed an answer that badly i wouldn't be posting id be peeing on a stick. Troll city in here.

OP I doubt a doctor would do a blood test if you haven't even tested yet. they would do a urine test at most. Which is something you can do yourself and don't need to take up a GP appointment for.

Buy a test, take it.
