Bored? Uncomfortable? Tired? Excited? How is everyone at term getting on?

Currently 38+4 with my first. Been on mat leave since 36 weeks and feel like I've been pregnant forever!!
Anyone else fancy a good old fashioned moan about waiting for our babies to arrive??

I'm also sat with the hot water bottle

40+??, twinges since Tuesday - thought the full moon last night would hurry things along but no. Totally fed up, grumpy and exhausted... I guess I will be more exhausted when baby arrives. Trying to be nice to boisterous 3.5 year old, at least DH is off work now.

I'm not one to hold much truth in old wives tales, but started to look into the effect of full moons on the birth rate, hoping that tomorrow's moon will move this bugger along. Sadly, the stats show it to be a load of old bollocks and no different to any other day.
I've tried sex with the DH (despite not having it off for months, too tired) and tomorrow evening we're off for a hot curry.
I'll let you know if a combo of all three starts labour.

Due date today and been having contractions since 9pm last night. Sadly they are still 8/9 mins apart and lasting 1 min
