Treacle - don't worry about your bean. Just think of all the women with HG who can't keep anything down for months & their babies turn out ok. I hope work accept your revised letter.

SomeSort - glad you got positive news Smile

I will post a stats update tomorrow. I'm going to the theatre tonight and if I leave the update until tomorrow, it will give you all a chance to let me know if you want adding/updating.

Littlelady33 · 22/04/2015 17:38

Just catching up on posts as work week from hell (11hr days, thank god I decided to reintroduce some coffee into my life). Treacle I hope the letter will be accepted and it sounds as though being signed off for a little while will be the best thing. You don't need to pile on extra stress just now. Don't worry about yesterday though, one day won't hurt and plenty of women fail to eat much at all with sickness and have healthy babies. Your body will take what it needs for the baby Smile

Treaclepie19 · 22/04/2015 18:39

Thanks all, it's just been such a hassle :(
I'm glad it seems to be sorted but can't shake the feeling more will come of it. I hope not.

I've eaten well today so I'm sure little boy will be happier :) Plus the mattress for his cot bed arrived so i'll show him that now :p

Big squeezes to you all for being so lovely xxx

12 week scan - So far so good Smile an extremely wriggly baby in there. Sonographer said all looks well. It was scratching it's head and possibly thumb sucking and kept turning on its side. Quite mischievous and problematic for her!

I know upthread there was some discussion of maybe a Sonographer letting slip the sex at the 20 week. I noticed mine today did refer to it as a 'he' and too early to know so perhaps it's common thing.

treacle glad things are getting sorted.

Gr33dy - lovely photo!! so clear. You must feel (post scan) great!

somesort I'm delighted you got such good results. After having the harmony test, I know what a relief it is.

treacle good luck with your revised letter. Surely they must accept it, if you said there's an error in the original letter?

Tori I could have written your exact same last paragraph. How do you feel about him settling in?

That's what I've been thinking too Tori I have a scan this afternoon and have spend the morning researching ecv's as I'll have to decide this afternoon if I want to try it or not. My gut feeling is telling me that if she has been in the same position for so long, that maybe there's a reason for that, and as you said, if she does turn on her own then that's a bonus. (but then that other voice creeps in telling me I should try everything possible to turn her).

Gr33dy congratulations on your scan, that's a really lovely photo too!

Also great news about your test results somesort.

I had my early scan today and it's all looking good so far, saw a little bean with heartbeat and measuring bang on my dates (6+6), so I'm feeling a bit more reassured (for now). I'll probably book another private scan for when I'm 10 weeks, as I've read that by then all the major organs should be fully functioning.

Excellent scan news Gre33dy and Metal, and great news on your test results Biscuit.

Hope these pesky babies turn, or the options you choose work out well for everyone.

Couldn't find any clean bras this morning despite knowing I'd dried some on the line yesterday. That would be because I'd put them in the sock drawer.... Baby brain! Although I'm still entirely unconvinced of the reality of a baby in there so who knows how that works.

fififolle · 23/04/2015 13:39

Fantastic scan picture Gr33dy
Great news on your early scan metal

Littlelady33 · 23/04/2015 14:14

Hurrah for the scans metal and gr33dy. God I'm uncomfortable just now - booked a maternity back massage for later but not sure she can work miracles. Has anyone tried one of those support belts? They look as though they be visible under clothing, not sure how that works?

Gr33dyeggs · 23/04/2015 14:18

Good news on your scan metal & that you're happy with your results biscuit.

I can understand just wanting baby here safely now tori. My friend recently had a c sec and was driving within a month.

Treaclepie19 · 23/04/2015 16:57

Great news metal :)
Congrats!

18+5 today and still not sure if im feeling baby move, getting impatient (and worried as always) :p

StickChildNumberTwo · 23/04/2015 17:16

Treacle I think it's entirely normal to not be feeling movements at your stage, and you do realise once you do regularly feel movements it just gives you something else to worry about when you're not sure you've felt enough.... Can you try and enjoy not having that to worry about yet?!

HariboBrenshnio · 23/04/2015 17:31

Gr33y and mental - so pleased for your scan news Smile scans take on a whole different meaning after MC and you must be so pleased.

Treacle - is this baby one? I felt no movements until I was about 22 weeks with my first. I remember going to my 20 week scan and seeing him squirming around and not feeling him which felt super strange! You've probably felt flutters that you haven't put down to baby too. The movements will come Smile

Treaclepie19 · 23/04/2015 17:40

Haha I need go try and stop worrying! It's getting past a joke now.
Yeah it is baby number 1, it's only been a week and a half since our last scan. How can I be worrying? :p
Thanks both, it's weird feeling so normal.

congratulations metal it's wonderful you saw a heartbeat Smile hopefully you can relax even a teeny bit. it's a very positive sign.

treacle I'd try not to worry too, When I was 18 weeks it felt like the whole internet were feeling massive kicks from 16 weeks, but I didn't feel anything until almost 23 weeks. And even at that, I don't think I felt as much as everyone else. At even scan she was moving like crazy and I couldn't feel it. You could also have strong stomach muscles. My mw told me I had, which I was very surprised at as my stomach has always been, how do I put this nicely, but soft!

I had my last scan today - I saw some very chubby cheeks! She's as breach as can be!
