I am almost 12wks with no.2 and was interested to see when other mums felt their 2nd, 3rd, 4th babies move. I felt my ds move when i was 18wks and i know that you are supposed to feel other pg's ealier, but how early thats the question...?

I was about 18 weeks when I knew what I was feeling was the baby moving with my first, with this one, I was about 9 weeks when I first thought that feels like the baby, was only when I had my first scan and I could see him moving and feel him at the same time that I knew I had been right!

I didn't feel ds until 24 weeks - I had an anterior placenta so that was why! DD I felt at about 17 weeks and this one I'm convinced I could feel at about 12/13 weeks but nothing concrete enough to say for definite until 15/16 weeks.

lulumama · 17/10/2006 19:39

16 weeks with first

14 weeks with second

zombiebridepenny · 17/10/2006 19:43

THis is my first and I started feeling strange mini movements around 13-14wks. Now at 18wks and baby is kicking away. Same feeling as before just a tiny bit stronger.

weeonion · 17/10/2006 20:40

14 weeks here - first time no havent a clue what i am to be feeling! i am presuming whatever is going on is stretching or wind!!!!

N1SEXYTING · 17/10/2006 20:52

First fluttering sensations felt at 18 weeks, on and off since then but no big kicks yet

Gem13 · 17/10/2006 21:14

1st and 2nd both the day before their 20 week scans. Just when I was really starting to worry.

3rd at 15 weeks. Is much more of a kicker than the other 2.

Toothyboy · 17/10/2006 21:19

Can't remember for ds1. Ds2 I am certain I felt at 10 weeks - even more so now he is almost 8 months and does not stay still for a moment!

liath · 17/10/2006 21:25

16 weeks with the first, 14 weeks this time.

Just5minspeace · 17/10/2006 21:41

18 weeks with DD but sure I felt something at 12 weeks this time. Now 16weeks but still not very consistent. I can't wait to really feel the movements. It is so reassuring that you are not just eating too much chocolate!

ja9 · 17/10/2006 21:58

about 16 weeks with both pg, but not consistently untl 18 wks.

it's just the loveliest thing about being pregnant...

bubbaOOOOOOO · 17/10/2006 22:08

Was 21 weeks with ds,but definately felt something at the weekend, with this one-I'm just over 12 weeks at the mo.

Anglaise1 · 18/10/2006 07:06

I'm 20 weeks on Friday and still haven't felt anything I can definitely say is movement - I wish it would hurry up as I'm starting to get a bit worried!

belgo · 18/10/2006 07:12

First baby I felt at 17/18 weeks.
Second at 15 weeks.

ghosty · 18/10/2006 07:14

First baby at 19 weeks
Second baby at 17 weeks

Just about the only thing I enjoyed about being pregnant was the baby moving

Lottie68 · 18/10/2006 19:25

I felt vague "shifting" sensations at 19 weeks and felt my first proper kick at about 20/21 wks.

(First pregnancy)

alex8 · 18/10/2006 20:52

I think the posters here are more early than average. My consultant today said that 22 wks is the norm. And that was when I felt mine first kick too.

Piffle · 18/10/2006 20:53

I'm 18 weeks now and have ben getting noticeable obvious movememnt since 15 weeks - but felt earlier movement when laying on tummy (those were the days )

Piffle · 18/10/2006 20:53

this my 3rd btw
with 1st it was over 20 weeks

RottenOtter · 18/10/2006 20:54

10 weeks with 2,3,4, and 5!

alex8 · 18/10/2006 21:18

I thought I felt flutters at 9 wks but the sonographer and consulant said it was impossible. Wind was much more likely.

vixenwasp · 16/08/2007 16:27

I am 15 weeks with my first, just felt a strange patch of fluttering on the left side of my belly Sure it was baby, but don't people say it makes you feel kind of ill afterwards?
