I just did my first jog of 2015, and my first pregnant jog!

Not going to lie, feeling slightly exhilerated and smug, possibly more than a 1-mile trot to the shops really merits!

Im 18+5, was a regular jogger/gym-goer/cyclist before pregnancy, but morning sickness plus a complicated house move basically wiped out exercise for the 1st trimester (and then some). Now, following all guidelines to take things gently etc, Im determined to get a level of fitness ticking over, to feel primed for birth & motherhood!

Is anyone else getting back into exercise with a bump in tow?

catsofa breaststroke can definitely make PGP worse. Not sure if it will definitely cause it. As long as you take it easy and stop at the first sign of pubic bone or sacral pain you should be ok.

Hi keepingfit. You said the exact same thing 6 posts ago. It can seem spammy if you repeat things, especially if you're asking for clicks to your website where you are trying to sell something.

I asked my midwife about breaststroke yesterday and she said to avoid If you already have problems with your hips/pelvis. she then said in general not to do too much breastroke but some wasn't detrimental. hth. Smile

I'm hopefully back at the gym tomorrow morning. just some easy jogging, cycling and some light weights. hubs is rejoining this week, or so he says. he's got a bump to rival mine! Grin

Thanks Tryingreallyhard84, I should be ok then I think since I spend much more time floating around talking than I do actually swimming Blush!
