When did you announce?

Hi ladies,

I realise this is a lame question to ask as everyone is different but I am DYING to do a little cute facebook announcement about my pregnancy, I know that kind of thing isn't for everyone but I really love it.

I am only 8 weeks but pretty much all of our family know and most close friends so kinda just want to make it public knowledge now so people don't gossip.

Do you think its too soon?

My mum, dad, sisters and bf straight away. Other family at 13 weeks. Everyone else at 17 weeks.

So happy your baby is doing well, OP! And I hope you are sharing lots of joy and excitement with your friends.

Amazed by all these ladies not announcing till 20 weeks, I was already showing really obviously by then! They must be lucky ;)

We told close friends and family straight away, and I posted a 12 week scan announcement on facebook yesterday once we'd confirmed with family that everything was alright. It's the only way to let my extended family know these days as my parents don't keep good records of people's phone numbers etc!
