I'm due non-identical twin boys in mid February. Any other twin-mums to-be out there?

Littlesupersparks: Sorry to hear you're feeling like this. Fingers crossed that it might come to an end fairly soon. Why do you not feel like telling people? Are you particularly worried about having 4 young ones?

Frecklebee: I was more worried about the rlp than anything - but none of the healthcare profs thought it anything other than normal. It may well be because the body is stretching for two - and boy does it need to. My bump is the size of a full term singleton and I've the best part of two months to go.

I hate the attention that comes withe pregnancy so never told anyone the first two times until I was showing at 6 months ish. Just all the bloody cooing and excitement!! (I'm a grouch)

Also complicated by some difficult family stuff that's made it not exactly celebratory. I just want to snuggle up with my family and hibernate.

Juneavrile - you must be getting uncomfortable. I read that at 28 weeks a twin mum can be carrying the equivalent of a full term singleton Shock
I'm 13 weeks + 2 and there is no hiding my bump, it pokes straight out and as the day goes on pokes out more and more, not massive but I look pregnant or like I have a round belly.
The pregnancy feels very slow to me, I think with being very unwell and having time off work the days drag. I'm looking forward to Christmas time as then it'll be the year I have my babies :)

How are all the twin mums to be doing? Smile

Hi there
I'm okay. Big and definitely look full term singleton, but I'm still going out and having a life. Just can't put my own socks on and am quite breathless. I look forward to being able to run and dance again!

Littlesupersparks - I feel for you - twins seems to me twice the cooing and fuss. Hope hibernation has been a bit of an option for you.

Frecklebee - You'll also be at a lovely stage of pregnancy for Christmas itself - hopefully feeling well and able to enjoy lots of lovely food and relaxation. I will be pretty much at term, so assume grumpy and properly uncomfortable.

Juneavrile hope you don't feel too uncomfy by Christmas, and the positive is then not long to go
