I know babies are a blessing and can't be timed but trying to look at 2nd baby options esp in relation to dc starting at primary schools etc
Just wondering anecdotally!

Also any difference in time between 29 and mid 39's??

Forgot to add I was 29 with first two pregnancies. 32 with DC2.

With my first I was 21 and pregnant with in first month of trying.

Pregnant with my 2nd I'm now 24 and 34 weeks :) took me 7 months to fall pregnant. Xx

PG at 17 - DS1: 1st week of trying.
PG at 20 - DD2: 1st week of trying after DS1.
PG at 22 - DS2&3: 1st week of trying after DD1.
PG at 23 - DD2&DS4: 1st week of trying after 1st twins.
PG at 24 - DS5: 1st time having unprotected sex (only time we forgot to use a condom, we weren't trying for another) after 2nd twins.

Can you see a pattern?

We don't use anything other than condoms. We've never bothered with tracking we just take off the condom and go for it (We do one week without a condom, one week with etc just so we get a better idea of what are dates would be).

uring my last two pregnancies I was continuously breastfeeding/pumping (basically matched the criteria) that it should have been classed as "birth control". But yeah...

First pregnancy aged 35 on 3rd cycle

Second pregnancy (twins) aged 40 after 36 cycles (one chemical pregnancy after 24 cycles)

Got pg with DS second month off the pill. I was 24.

Started ttc when DS was almost 1, it took 13 months of trying but mc'd at 12 weeks. I was 27.

Continued ttc when able after mc, took 8 months to become pg again, unfortunately had another mc at 8 weeks. Still 27.

Continued ttc! This time got pg 6 months after mc, still pg (18 weeks now). Am now 28.

dd1 18 months
ds1 1 month
ds2 4 months

Mc -age 24 first cycle
Dd1 - age 25 first cycle
Ds1 - age 27 first cycle
Dd2 - age 29 first cycle

Only just turned 30 so don't know re 30s , except my mum conceived 4 first cycle aged 30-36 so may be hereditary x

DD1 - accidental pregnancy, first time I could have become pregnant I did (32)
Wanted a small gap between children but suffered secondary infertility.
DTs - five ivf cycles later (37)
Then 8 months after that not using anything as we'd been told we were very fertility challenged and there was certainly not much action anyway due to DTs, DC4 on way.....(38)

1st pregnancy aged 24 - 1st cycle after coming off the pill. Ended in a termination for chromosomal abnormalities.

2nd pregnancy aged 25 - 3rd cycle. Resulted in DS.

3rd pregnancy (found out today!) aged 30 - 1st cycle of trying and this is after having had chemotherapy two years ago. I thought I was likely to be infertile. Nope!

I think it must be impossible to predict based on anyone else's experience.

DS - first month aged 31
DC2 - seventh months, aged 33(now 34 and 15 weeks right at this moment). Pregnant straight after an early miscarriage the month before.

I would like three but I'm not hopeful of that happening by the time we've adjusted to having two and got through the first baby year!

My periods were very regular, I was ovulating every month, taking vitamins and eating really well. It drove me nuts it was taking so long after DS happened immediately - even though relatively speaking, it was hardly long at all.
