My all time classic emotsh moment was crying when the panda at Edinburgh zoo got pregnant last month.

Then there was remembering that a colleagues mum packed up a little lunch box of things she HAD to nibble on every hour during her morning sickness - the amount of love the mother had for her daughter to do that was overwhelming to me (at the time) lol.

If I'm in that mood where I need a good cry before I can get rationally on with the rest of my day, all I have to do is watch a youtube video of a flashmob! For some reason the build up and peek of the mob overwhelms me! Lol.

And if I'm in a freaked out tizzy about the enormity that's ahead of us, I just have to watch a youtube video of 'how to settle a crying baby' and I'm off! Completely overwhelmed in a bad kinda way. Lol.

What about you?

I watched Jack and Sarah, I literally cried for a week. What was I thinking!

It doesn't beat my heavily pregnant yogurt story but I'm only 5 weeks with this one so there's still time for plenty more but....

I've just sobbed uncontrollably for a good 20 minutes because do rang to say he wouldn't be back tonight but would set off for home around lunch time instead. I KNEW there was a good chance of this as his not well and has just spent 6 hours driving 100 miles in horrendous traffic to visit his 4 year old who was in hospital last night with a mega temperature.
I suggested that he should stay over when he left the house but still I sit here sobbing! Siiiigh!

I cried when I killed a slug. I cried watching the new Hercules film (and not because it was awful).

I cried when my husband threatened to name every planet in the Star Wars universe. Alphabetically.

I cried (much to DH's amusement/bemusement) when he went and got the garlic sauce out of the car for me (somehow it had slipped out of the shopping bag). I'd meant to go and get it before we had pizza for dinner but was just too tired. I was so grateful that he'd got it without making me feel bad - which then made me feel a confusing mix of bad for not doing it and thankful for my lovely DH and well up!

Have been wanting to watch Jack and Sarah again for a while - might need to wait for a good day!

Yesterday we had an engineer come round to fix our telephone line. He went outside and then I saw him drive off, he didn't say he was going and I didn't think he was coming back. My internet wouldn't work and my phone line was dead. I started crying lol.

Oh and I cried watching the baby development slideshow on the NHS website :S No idea why

The john lewis christmas advert - absolute catastrophe the moment the little boys penguin lays eyes on the girl penguin. I was inconsolable because i was so happy he had a friend.

mrswardle2014 · 28/11/2014 11:52

I am sobbing reading this thread. Started off screaming with laughter at the post about peas, then crying with laughter, now just crying inconsolably. Have had to ask dh to come home from work.

I cried watching Gavin and Stacy last night, when stacy realises her mam had packed all her stuff into the van to take to essex... wouldn't be so bad, but I've always thought she was a brat in that bit!

PickledLilly · 28/11/2014 21:09

When I was pregnant we started watching a film with a dog in it, I said to DP (who had watched the film before) 'if the dog does I'm not watching it' he lied through his teeth and said it didn't. The dog looked just like my dog (who was alive and well at the time) when the dog in the film inevitably died I ended up sitting on DPs knee wailing and beating his best with my fists screaming 'why, you bastard, why would you do that to me?'

We had to turn the film off for a good half hour until I calmed down enough to watch the end, I'm usually very unemotional, he thought I was deranged!

This week I have sobbed over a 'congratulations on your baby' card I bought for a family member, how pretty the cat is, and tiger cubs on BBC 2.

I'm only 6 weeks - is this is for 9 months now.

Emz1989 · 29/11/2014 11:46

I have laughed out loud reading this thread! How reassuring that I'm not the only emotional lunatic!!
I cried watching a rubbish itv programme about JB from JLS and his wife preparing for their first baby... I don't know why, they were super organised and happy, it just tipped me over the edge!
Also blow drying my hair, full on tears every time! It's such a chore and yet it needs to be done - which seems so unfair!

Lewaney3 · 29/11/2014 19:29

This thread has made me smile!...
I've been feeling very rough and emotional since yesterday...in the space of 24 hours...I have;

  • cried when DH made me beans on toast in bed...it was so beautiful
  • cried as there was no tomato sauce when I asked for some.
-cried at DH as he collapsed in laughter over my emotional state
  • cried after realising the heating wasn't on, I thought I'd turned it on.

I feel so up and down. I hope this is just a phase..5 weeks and DC1. :/

EbwyIsUpTheDuff · 29/11/2014 22:58

today I cried because we missed the offer for a pram I like on amazon lightning deals... then again when we got it after all...

crying about shouting at my kids to "just bloody get off me!" when they were climbing on me and digging arms and knees into my bump...

right old waterworks today!

hazellnut56 · 29/12/2015 20:48

I've just burst in to floods of tears because I dropped my dogs off at my mums whilst we visit the in laws for 24 hours ! Bad times !!

goodnightdarthvader1 · 29/12/2015 21:08

MimiDoddrioni · 29/12/2015 23:03

I cried because I didn't know what to order for my lunch whilst waiting for a train with my husband, and I didn't think I'd like what I ordered. Turns out I'd picked a very tasty lunch Blush

zannyminxoxox · 30/12/2015 03:07

Crying at my daughters play as soon as she walked in and sat down. My daughter was so worried about me she wouldn't join in and cried at the end for me when she went back into her class. Poor girl didn't realise they were happy proud tears until I told her when I picked her up.
