My all time classic emotsh moment was crying when the panda at Edinburgh zoo got pregnant last month.

Then there was remembering that a colleagues mum packed up a little lunch box of things she HAD to nibble on every hour during her morning sickness - the amount of love the mother had for her daughter to do that was overwhelming to me (at the time) lol.

If I'm in that mood where I need a good cry before I can get rationally on with the rest of my day, all I have to do is watch a youtube video of a flashmob! For some reason the build up and peek of the mob overwhelms me! Lol.

And if I'm in a freaked out tizzy about the enormity that's ahead of us, I just have to watch a youtube video of 'how to settle a crying baby' and I'm off! Completely overwhelmed in a bad kinda way. Lol.

What about you?

I had a total meltdown at work when my boss told me the baby bouncer chair I had purchased didn't have a good review on Amazon.

Full on tears in the ladies..and then the head of HR walks in! She was lovely though and knew hormones were going crazy!

LBNM19 · 02/09/2014 18:11

I've sat here sobbing on a few occasions because I'm always so tired and I'm fed up and don't want to be pregnant anymore haha.

TheScenicRoute · 02/09/2014 18:55

Im currently crying because my boss asked to have a chat, it was a nice chat nothing at all to be crying over but I cried all the way home and have continued crying because tea isnt cooking as quickly as it should, dp was nice to me, the dog had run out of water and because I cant stop crying Blush

CarbeDiem · 02/09/2014 19:27

My 'moments' were mostly while pregnant for the first time.

When the toast I was trying to butter with hard Lurpak got all broken. The first slice I was a bit meh! about but it was the second slice that pushed me over the edge - I cried like a baby.

My worst was when I was about 8 months, I was doing some hoovering and it stopped sucking/picking up. I checked, as you do, to see if something was stuck then tried again - nope still not working.
All of a sudden this rage came over me, the tears started and I'm ashamed to say that I kicked and beat poor Henry Hoover to within an inch of his useless unsucking life. Blush

Then, once I'd exhausted myself I sat and the sofa and sobbed because I felt guilty :)

When I was pregnant with DS I cried because we ran out of Shreddies.

The other day we took DS to this place with these tacky moving/singing models, and as you went in, there was a giant teddy bear playing the guitar. It was crap but he loved it and was clapping and dancing and so excited, that made me cry.

They didn't have the pasta I wanted in waitrose. It was the only thing I could imagine eating that didn't make me want to vom and they didn't have it. I cried in the aisle then called DH and sobbed down the phone. I could barely get the words out and he was terrified I was miscarrying or something but then I explained they didn't have my pasta and I think he thought I'd gone mental.

I also found my phone in the fridge and sobbed at how stupid I'd been.

Ducky23 · 02/09/2014 21:54

I cried because I thought if we ever get another hamster it might not be as friendly as the last one Blush (the first one that died years ago)

Rinkydinkypink · 02/09/2014 21:56

I sobbed when I found the box of tissues in our living room. Simply because I was overwhelmed at how lucky I was to have tissuesGrin

I had many special moments SmileSmile

My DP made risotto with a different type of risotto rice than normal.

I accused him of "ruining risotto night" Confused

NutellaStraightFromTheJar · 02/09/2014 22:07

My sandwich fell on the floor and was not salvageable, although I seriously considered eating it, fluff and all.
I couldn't get the duvet in the duvet cover.
My toddler was shy at soft play and I convinced myself it was because I am a terrible mother.
DH asked me to meet him after a work lunch for a nice afternoon out.
I watched that 'like a girl' YouTube video.
I listened to a song I used to sing to DS when he was a baby.
DS wouldn't eat his dinner.
I lose track of all the film/book/TV related tears though!

Vicky5910 · 02/09/2014 22:22

I never cry but in this pregnancy I've cried twice when talking to my boss, the poor man hardly knows me and he was very uncomfortable both times!
I cry if I even hear a snippet of the opening music to OBEM.
I cried when Kimberley cried on Got To Dance.
I also went Red Ross when they made her jump with that dance illusions trick. She's pregnant for Christ sake!
(If you don't watch got to dance I sound like a loon. I don't even care)
I nearly cried when the lady on the phone at the bank was nice to me this morning. Held it together though. Go me.

WingsClipped · 02/09/2014 22:54

I just sobbed my way through the Disney soundtrack in DH's car Blush Jesse's song (toy story) started it off and then I just couldn't stop.

GeorgiexXx · 03/09/2014 08:49

I cried the other day whilst washing up. There wasn't much of it but I just didn't want to do it. The dog looked at me as if I was crazy!

FlossyMoo · 03/09/2014 08:59

I cried because I couldn't open a packet of chocolate digestives and I really wanted one. I was in the kitchen and during my mini meltdown I realised how ridiculous it was and sort of slid down the fridge and sat on the floor.
Then I realised I couldn't get up again ( 8 months pregnant with twins). I sat there in floods of tears for 10 minutes until DH found me (he was in the shower) and helped me up. All the time I was sobbing that I was a useless fat heifer.

Seven years later every time I go to open a packet of chocolate digestives DH takes them and does it while saying "we don't want a repeat of last time" knob Grin

JoanJettPack · 03/09/2014 09:13

My dh came downstairs this morning and put a sock on top of my head. I told him to stop being such a prick. He said sorry, he was only messing about. I started crying. Wtf?

I also had a cry yesterday because Ds1 is starting high school today and I was worried he might get lost walking home (it's about half a mile, it's one straight road, we've lived here for 3 years, he'll be with his friends and he's got his mobile with him). I think I need help!

LightUpLightUp · 03/09/2014 09:27

I was cleaning up yesterday and caught a few minutes of Disney cars whilst my son was watching it, it was the moment where lightening McQueen pushed a competitor to the finish line of the track after a crash and said that winning an empty cup wasnt important to him, I sobbed for a good five minutes Hmm

dreamygirl · 03/09/2014 19:18

Before I knew I was pregnant with DD1 I cried watching the opening ceremony for the Winter Olympics, sobbing to DH that all the participants were "just so patriotic!" He was mystified as I hardly ever cry over things that are meant to be moving - films, nativity plays etc - so I think he was quite relieved when we found out I was pregnant and not just turning soft!

Cat1984 · 03/09/2014 19:25

I cried at an episode of Simpsons where Bart Simpson failed a test and was gonna be put back a year if he didn't get a higher score on resitting it, I cried my eyes out when he failed the resit Hmm

RetroHippy · 03/09/2014 19:34

I sobbed at a sad YouTube video of a dog protecting it's dead doggy friend. DH had showed it to me as he thought it was interesting and I had to leave the room sobbing 'You don't show sad things to pregnant people!'

He looked at me like this Hmm

TheBabyFacedAssassin · 03/09/2014 20:00

Oh so many things... Here are the top 2:

  1. I had pretty awful sickness at the start and one day all I could face was a chicken fillet burger for dinner, to which DH said, no problem, I'll go and get you one. I lost it, massive body-shaking sobs. My reason for crying? I was worried we couldn't afford it... Hmm
  1. I got a text from my friend to say that her friend (not someone I knew very well) had just got engaged. I cried my heart out with happiness! I had only met the girl once before...

Hormones are crazy things.

Rainbow555 · 03/09/2014 20:18

I cried last night because I am vegetarian and I keep thinking about eating chicken! And because there was no rice pudding.

carbediem your comment about Henry Hoover has me in complete stitches! Actual tears of laughter - I'm sorry. Poor Henry!

I cried because I had 2 chips in windscreen and it didn't get filled the day it was supposed to. Threw a wobbly! Also cried at a comic of a dog - was such a nice back story I sobbed half way through reading it!

supershaz · 03/09/2014 20:27
