Hey, I am just over 6 weeks by my calculations, so due at the end of April. Not having my booking in for over a month, and then they don't think my scan will be until 14 weeks so I have booked in for an early scan on the 8th September. Just to prove to myself that I am pregnant really as I also fell on 1st cycle and I am kind of shell shocked!

Hiya,

Im also due in april. On the 8th. Had a scan yesterday, saw a little heartbeat :) measured in at 8 weeks and 1 day. Married a year on 6th sep, had a mmc in february at 9 weeks, so am a little nervous to get passed the 9 week mark. Wishing u all lots of baby dust. Would be nice of we would all stay in touch throughout!!! :)

CherryLips1980 · 29/08/2014 10:05

Also due in April :) Am 6+5 today by my calculations. Another who fell on first cycle! Was going to be very cool and relaxed and wait for my NHS scan, but I can't, I'm going to end up having a private (early) one, I know it. This is my second (DD now 9months old) and I'm sure I don't remember as much stretchy/period pains with her.

The last 2.5 weeks have lasted AT LEAST a year.

Yay - I'm in - 5 weeks gone.

It's our first wedding anniversary tomorrow and we never thought we'd be spending it looking at breast pumps in Mothercare!

Would love to stay in touch throughout and compare progress.

We had to have a scan at 3.5 weeks as I had some pain and we saw our little egg sac and yoke. I am going back on 3rd September - I think it will be too early to see a heartbeat but I really hope we can see some progress.

I have had no sickness yet and bit worried (but also selfishly a bit thankful). Had some twinges and I am absolutely shattered all the time but other than that I feel great and really excited :) xx

The chat thread is here

(When you look at the size/busyness of Antenatal Clubs, which is the preganacy chat topic with threads mainly by due date, you'll see why they're all in a separate place to avoid swamping out this one).

Hi lovely ladies!

I am 8 + 5, due April 6th. Have my first midwives appointment next week when I am hoping it's all going to start feeling real!

Been feeling ok, just eating through the nausea and felt really tired. Can't eat enough coleslaw. I have woken up this morning and my jeans feel tighter than usual...don't know if I am bloated, running out of room in my belly or just getting fat a little too quickly!

xx

Futter · 29/08/2014 18:35

Hi all!

Thanks for joining :-) it'll be fun to share as we progress :-)

Curiousjess I am due April 5th (also my birthday) . I've been very lucky had no nausea so far but very lightheaded and dizzy!

I noticed on the other thread - the antenatal one that people are already having scans! I thought you had to wait for one once you'd registered with the midwife?? And it would be around the 12 week mark? Or am I totally out of the loop here?!

Futter Amazing - we're pregnancy due date buddies (give or take 24hrs!) Yeah, I noticed that people are having scans etc. I have my first appointment with the midwife next week and I am guessing then they'll give me a date for my first scan?!

Futter · 30/08/2014 09:56

Curiousjess - my midwife appointment was 1.5 weeks ago - I had to select the hospital I want to go to throughout the pregnancy (you can always change your mind later) and she writes to them to organise your scan. Still waiting for it to come through but she said up to 2 weeks and then I'll chase if I've had nothing x

i am in devon. 30, this is baby #5 and dh is 32. Grin other children are girl 11, boy 8 next week, boy 6 and girl 5.

The children all know about this baby and are already busy discussing whether it'll be a girl or a boy (sex will.determine who moves into the bigger bedroom currently occupied by myself and dh, so lots of competition for the biggest room!). Grin

sheldor · 30/08/2014 20:55

My baby will be a march baby but more likely to be born in April as my ds and dd were both 2 weeks late.

I'm 12 weeks from Lmp but i'm more likely 10 weeks.

sheldor · 30/08/2014 20:56

I still haven't booked myself in yet.So got to book a doctors appointment tommorow

CherryLips1980 · 30/08/2014 21:23

I'm on the W/N Yorks borders and have my booking in appointment next Thursday.

Went to a baby sale today with some friends who don't know and it took all my energy not to a/ blab, b/ look obviously at double buggies - there were loads for sale! or c/ buy some tiny cute newborn stuff.

I think I'm going to go back to the same hospital I had DD at as had a fantastic experience there but the idea of a home birth appeals - not least because DD was a precipitate labour. However, my blood pressure went sky high after I'd had her and I ended up readmitted so I don't know if that would be a factor?
