If your first baby was late, was your second late too?

I'm 37 weeks and getting impatient! My ds was born at 40+12 so I'm thinking I will probably be overdue again.

At my last appt baby was head down but not engaged, I think it mives between head down and transverse though going by movement. I don't think I've felt aby braxton hicks, no show etc.

Am I right in thinking this baby is likely to be late too? what was your experience?

DD was 40+8 and DS was 40+12 I was actually going to be induced the next day.

Dd1 40+1
DD2 40+1
DD3 39+4
DD4 39+2
I'm pregnant with my fifth but think this one will be late as they moved my date 6 days forwards. This has never happened all apart from one of my others had their dates moved back.

Same each time, all overdue by 10 days.

Regarding inductions, midwives were going to let me go up to 14 days, then have a conversation about what to do. I heard of people going 16 days over. If it runs in your family, don't be surprised if you go over the due date too!

Yes. Dc1 was T+13 (induced at 12 days over), DC2 was T+3 (spontaneous labour).

Weebairn am in similar situation as DS1 was 2 weeks late and his birthday is the 26th. 2 years on and my induction date is the 25th. Good excuse not to have a full-on birthday party I'm thinking. I just will feel so bad if I'm in labour on his 2nd birthday
