Ok then...Now I'm stuck for boys names...

Ideas please..!! We only have girls names and have recenlty found out that baby2 is going to be a boy.

BTW we like Modern but not the "normal" names iykwim...

ie Finlay, Jacob etc. Sadly dh isn't keen on my choice.!!

What was your choice that your DH doesn't like? That gives more to go on as "modern" means different things to different people...

How about Ned,Nathaniel or myds3 has got a Jonty in his class which is quite sweet!

What are yourideas so far (you and DH)? And what girl's names have you got chosen?

I only like 3 names for boys
Max - I have a 12 yr old already called that
Finn - if this one is boy he will be Finn
Gabriel - our best friends have their ds called this so we couldn't...

hi all, well I like Finlay and Jacob and Henry and Harry but he's not keen...

Looking through the book of names last night we both like Callum but although I like it it may need to grow on me iykwim....

Girls names we liked: Maddison,Madeline,Eve,Meadow and Lucy.

Oh we do like Gabriel coz we like Gabe for short but its so hard as we want a trendy uncommon name (iykwim) but still want it to be nice in 10-20 years time..!

Thanks Maddison, it's a shock knowing dc is going to be a boy but I think I'm getting used to the idea..!!

At the park a few weeks ago I heard a woman call her son Sol, don't know what it was short for (Soloman maybe) or if it was indeed a shortened name, but I really liked it.

Amos is funky. Love Jude too (probably hypothetical ds2 for me!).

My ds is called Reuben, it's a family name and everyone I meet loves the name. He gets called Roo which is very cute, he refers to himself as Roo-roo, he's only 18 months, so sweet!

I like Harvey, Jed, Ash(er), Finn/Finlay and Max (I have one so biased but was nearly a Finn)

I think it's coz we just expected dc2 to be a girl that we never expected to be searching for boys name..! We were the same with dd but luckily for us she was a girl as we had no boys names at all..!!!

Max I love but sadly it was our cats name... I LOVE felix but dh doesn't and his friends son is called that..arrrgghhh.! God it's so hard trying to find a name to suit us both.
