i actually like Lyndsey and Ashley/Asher (Ash) for boys

round here Lyndsey is pronounced Lin-zee, sounds great with our accent

nailpolish · 15/09/2006 14:31

theres also old mens names like George, William (Liam, Will), Charles (Charlie), Bobby, Ross etc

the best way i think to finding a name you like is to watch film credits

Dh's friend is Lindsay.

Campbell (Cam bell) is another good one.

DS is Xavier, a little to out there for most methinks. But I love it.

YellowFeathers · 15/09/2006 18:51

We've just had an Ellis Niall.
I think its quite modern but not too "out there" or tacky.

Oh but talking Raphael...think Gabriel is also very nice
Also think Kieran is a cool nmae, it's not old nor new and a name a child and a dult can get away with
Samuel is also a classic but modern in a way
Shane is nice, too...or Ryan or Riley!

LOL - no DS is not called Urk, or any of these names! Shhhh, did I not tell you DS's name after you so kindly sent me the ChickenLicken toy? It isn't on this thread, but I'm surprised Mrsbadger didn't include it in her list....
