Pregnancy spanx or similar?

I'm a bridesmaid at a wedding in a couple of weeks and I will be 29 weeks pregnant. My bump seems big - it's my .2nd DC.

I need some sort if hold me in underwear suitable for maternity wear, anyone have an ideas? The material is the dress is very silly and slinky and not only can you see my VPL but also the love handles I seem to have acquired!

If you didn't go down the actual spanx route (I believe they DO make pregnant ones but I would be worried about toilet breaks! LOL barely manage in control wear when not pregnant) ... what about 'no seam' style pants that don't hold you in at all but are pretty much invisible.
I have some which work well from Debenhams. I have to confess I just bought a massive size not maternity.

But I just feel huge and having to walk down aisle and have photos think id feel more confident with spanx. I'll google to see if they make maternity ones. Friend said they don't, but I will have a look!

You are pregnant. No one is expecting you to look all spanx-y. Just relax and enjoy the fact you can breathe in your underwear. Go with the comfort my friend!!

Pregnancy control pants definitely exist, I wore some during my pregnancy.

Spanx do make maternity pants, they are £25 ish. Matalan do some lovely very high pants with low leg line for 3 for £6, which are good under slinky dresses- I just went a size up (I am a bridesmaid at 29 weeks in a slinky dress too so I feel your pain!)

I got some mama spanx via Amazon for £25. Expensive but worth it - made me feel more comfortable in a fitting dress that I wore to a friends wedding.

If spanx etc are too uncomfortable, even a petticoat might smooth it out a bit but be a bit more accommodating.

I have branded maternity spank and they just feel like thin tights.

I am wearing a size up in hold in pants to a wedding next week, just for the earlier prt of the day. I'm sure it isn't a good idea all day.

I used pregnancy spanx when I was pregnant. They were great, lots of room for the bump and I found they really supported me.

Asos do decent maternity shapewear - not to suck you in obviously, just to streamline and support everything

Trust me, in normal day to day life I do let it all hang out. But when you are a bridesmaid, have to stand in a church full of people in a silky dress and be photographed (which I usually avoid!) then I would just like my love handles squeezed in a bit.

Thanks for the advice - have ordered a pair of mama spanx :) now, just to figure out what to do about the back fat!!!
