pregnancy test

Hi need advice my periods were due on wed but on frid I done a clear blue test this came back pregnant went to doctor and done a test but today doctors test came back negative and since done 4 clear blue now and all said pregnant please help

If you've had 4 positive pregnancy tests then I'd say you are definitely pregnant. Maybe your doctor didn't use a very sensitive test, or your urine was quite dilute at the time? I'd make another appointment for a few days time / next week and hopefully he / she will confirm it for you then (N.B: my doctor quite merrily just took my work for it that my home pregnancy tests were positive, and a lot of other doctors are the same, as the home tests are perfectly reliable). Hi. I don't have experience myself but a lot of threads on here are similar and most people seem to say that false positives are nigh on impossible (as opposed to false negatives, which can be due to diluted urine as the PP said, insensitive tests etc). My doctor also didn't bother with another test.

So I'd say it was looking good! Best of luck

you are pregnant, congratulations! Get a first response as well if you'd like another brand to reassure you :) Go back and see him next week, his tests might be a bit insensitive.

My doctors didn't test, if you have a positive just call the doctors & ask for a booking in appt with midwife at around 8 weeks. Congratulations! X

Friday but won't know if am pregnant then as they are to see how high my hormone count is then get more on Friday won't get them till Tuesday am so fed up just want to know xx

I've heard the tests the doctors use are like the cheap ones you can buy on eBay and aren't very sensitive. Unusual they didn't just take your word for it!

You ARE pregnant your doc is being ignorant!!!!

Just feel doc was useless today even tried to say it could be a failed pregnancy but with clear blue it tells you how many weeks and it's went up since last week so surly if it's a failed one the weeks would not go up thanks for all the comments it's keeping me hopeful x

Is change doctor, just book in with the midwife, make an appt at reception. U don't need to be refered by doc x

You're doc sounds worse than mine who tried to get my dp a blood test for a bacteria found in your gut- you need to test poo for that lol!

DOn't worry there's not reason to think you're going to miscarry!
