Hiya there was one of these threads when I was pregnant with my DS now 2, & it was fab so thought I'd start one.

I seem to go through this stage in the 1st & 3rd trimester. I basically have no clue what to eat everyday. I don't have aversions I just don't fancy anything & spend ages in the supermarket looking for inspiration.
The thread also helped me be more aware of what I was eating - healthy or totally crap Blush

So what are you eating????

I'm 27 weeks and so far today iv had:

Breakfast: Alpen
Lunch: 2 wholemeal pitta breads filled with smoked salmon, salad & cheese.
Snack: 3/4 of a chocolate bar - DS ate the last 1/4 lol.

So what have you eaten today? Inspire me Smile

I am exactly the same! Will be watching this thread for inspiration. Just don't fancy anything! Confused

Ducky23 · 28/04/2014 15:07

Oh and I've ate crap so far!

Two slices of toast and a pot noodle Confused

I have chicken and vegetables for dinner, don't fancy it but have nothing else in!

SpawningSalmon · 28/04/2014 15:51

Crap ALL day!

Cornflakes (started craving them last week having not had them since I was about 8) with strawberries and soy milk.
2 pieces toast with peanut butter and marmalade
2 more pieces toast Blush with peanut butter and banana
Pear Activia yoghurt
Chocolate bunny stolen from 2 year olds stash
2 cups tea

redandchecker · 28/04/2014 15:56

You won't get any inspiration from me
I'm exactly the same at the moment.
So will be watching with interest.

I had a banana for breakfast
Lentil and leek soup for lunch
A fresh lemon and orange smoothie

I'm going to make the breakfast muffins tonight though for tomorrow - MNs recipe of the week.

SandwichBag · 28/04/2014 15:58

I'm trying to turn over a new leaf this week as have been pigging out on chocolate and biscuits which is not good... so today i've had:

Breakfast: Fruit & Fibre with a 0% Fat Activia Yoghurt, Banana & Tall Decaf Skinny Late (Starbucks)
Mid-morning: Apple, glass of Water
Lunch: Vegetable Dumpling & Noodle Soup from Eat, bag of Salted Popcorn & bottle of Sparkling Water
Mid-Afternoon: Go Ahead Crispy Slices & cup of Tea

For Dinner i'm planning on Spanish Chicken (Chicken Tonight) and Salad... hoping I can resist the Spinach & Ricotta Tortellini i'll be making for the OH (maybe i'll have a slice of Wholemeal Bread with it if im hungry).

TwigletFiend · 28/04/2014 16:07

Hmm, not sure I'll prove to be inspirational, but so far today I have had:

An apple
Ham & low-fat Philly bagel
A pear
Tomato & herb mug shot with pasta
Just chowing down on a bag of salted pistachios.

Supper tonight is fishcakes with sweet potato wedges & steamed spring greens & peas (that bit's only for me, OH only eats vegetables if I hide them in cheese sauce!).

I've been making a lot of soup the last couple of weeks. Currently finishing up a batch of butternut squash soup, which is lovely even when I'm feeling sick, especially with a warm crusty roll!

MrsMonkeyBear · 28/04/2014 16:09

Breakfast: sausage and fried onion sandwich
Lunch: vegetable curry, (great way to use up left over veg, I throw in chick peas, spinach, cauliflower, sweet potato and butternut squash.) served with herby wraps.
Dinner, well that's still to be decided but really want hot dogs and baked beans on toast smothered with cheese!!!
Snacks, anything I could lay my hands on, but mainly hummus, taziki (can't spell) and crudités.

I do have days where I can't decide what to eat, but then I suddenly get urges for random things like omelettes, egg mayo sandwiches and risotto for breakfast and then ice cream and cheesecake for tea!!

arwen1506 · 28/04/2014 16:15

Fitness cereal, dried fruit ss milk,
Half chocolate egg plus chocolate biscuits (irresponsibly celebrating results to not having gestational diabetes.
Toast with baked beans and scrambled eggs
Strawberries with reduced fat squirty cream.
off to pilates later to feel slightly less guilty about the chocolate.
Chicken with vegs in slow cooker for dinner. 28 weeks pregnant.

Cupcake11 · 28/04/2014 16:19

39+5 and I hate deciding what to eat.
Today:
Breakfast: large bowl of pineapple and a slice of seeded toast and marmite
Snack: pack of breakfast biscuits
Lunch: chicken soup
Snack: mint cornetto and handful of frozen grapes
And dinner will be chicken in pitta with salad, corn on the cob and a few chips.

ohthegoats · 28/04/2014 16:44

Breakfast - massive amount of fruit - pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, grapes and banana, with a coconut yoghurt on top and a bit of muesli sprinkled on too.

11am - pea and courgette soup with two babybels.

12.30 - chicken and ham salad with beetroot, sweetcorn, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, avocado. Bag of nuts, some with chocolate on them.

In a minute will eat an apple and some watermelon.

Dinner - no idea, probably protein with salad, because that's all I fancy at the moment. Or a bowl of fruit.

ohthegoats · 28/04/2014 16:45

Now I've read the other posts up there, I'm thinking jacket potato with beans - with salad, obv - for dinner. Followed by some more fruit and some cherry icecream.

justhayley · 28/04/2014 16:49

Grin Already feeling inspired thank you. Sitting here now fancying toast with peanut butter and banana - never had that mix before sounds yummy. Also could demolish a cheesecake Smile

dinner will be chicken broth and a haloumi and chorizo pitta.

Keepthechangeyoufilthyanimal · 28/04/2014 17:15

30 weeks and today I've had:

Cheerios with full fat milk
Glass pineapple juice

Homemade roasted veg quiche & potato salad
Large pear

Mug of Nutella hot chocolate

No idea what dinner will be but probably something basic like pasta bake or jacket spud & tuna as DH has come home ill from work & is unlikely to want dinner so not worth cooking a big meal for just me!

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 28/04/2014 17:26

Lots of pineapple eating in this thread!

mrsnec · 28/04/2014 17:37

Bran flakes for breakfast.

Glass of milk and a pear for morning snack.

Bacon roll loads of ketchup and a pint of vimto for lunch

Mushroom Maggi noodles for dinner
Then a cream caramel and some tinned peaches
Then a few squares of hazelnut chocolate.

splendide · 28/04/2014 18:00

I'm 15 weeks.

I've had a slice of white toast and peanut butter
A sandwich with cheese, ham and pineapple
A carrot cut into sticks
I'm having a pie and veg later

Pregnantagain7 · 28/04/2014 18:04

I seem to go between not being able to decide what I want to eat and knowing what I want and needing it NOW! Also I don't seem to be able to eat at set times only when I'm hungry.

Today I've had:

A latte and fruit toast from Starbucks
Two shortbread biscuits
A tunnocks tea cake
A huge avocado and bacon sandwich (sooo good!)
A sausage from the kids tea
Left over melon and strawberries from kids tea

Not the healthiest of days! Not sure about dinner but probably not that much maybe a big bowl of fruit to try and balance all the crap I've eaten today! :)

Weegiemum · 28/04/2014 18:09

I"ve not been pregnant for 10+ years, but I'm eating a fishfinger sandwich on white bread. Yum!!

lolee777 · 28/04/2014 18:15

I'm 18+3

I am the same with struggling with the healthy options. For breakfast I had beans on cheese on toast with loads of Lea
and lunch I made made myself cheese and salad rolls with salad cream and pickle, also had a yoghurt.

Tonight its chicken fajitas with chips.

I have now realised that I need to eat more fruit this week.

mrsnec · 28/04/2014 18:22

Mmm Avocado and tunnocks teacakes! Not together mind but those are another couple of things I could add to my currently very small repertoire.

MrsMonkeyBear · 28/04/2014 18:53

Yes the avocado is a must!!! to the supermarket I go...maybe in the morning

I had my veg day today, so tomorrow is fruit day. All I want now is avocado, banana and kiwi fruit.

FoodieMum3 · 28/04/2014 19:08

Usually have porridge or wholemeal toast for breakfast,
Banana sandwich and a little yogurt for lunch
Apple for snack
Dinner varies, today was steak, baby potatoes and green beans.

I usually allow myself 2 choc biscuits at night with a cup of tea.

If I'm still hungry (and often am Blush ) I'll have a small bowl of weetabix or cornflakes.

Bloods, BP etc are always perfect so I think I'm doing ok.
