Eat all the banned cheese with a decent sized glass of red wine
Go to Yo sushi for some raw fish

And later...
rejoin my badminton club
Take my DD ice skating for the first time (thanks Frozen...)

Obviously these won't be immediately after the birth but I'm making my post birth bucket list.

What is, or was, on yours?

I am going to have a massive jug of pimms with fresh fruit on the top (already told DP to have this ready for me Grin ) And as soon as I have recovered I am going to get on my horse and go for a nice long gallop!

TwigletFiend · 28/04/2014 10:52

Oh gosh, RedPony definitely will be keen for a run on my neddy! Though I feel after a couple of months off I may require a parachute.

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 28/04/2014 11:00

Baked camembert, with chutney and crackers
Pate and crusty bread
White wine

Sleep on my stomach

flymo79 · 28/04/2014 11:01

drink an espresso martini (after expressing a load of milk!)
eat all the cheese, seafood linguini and pate my heart desires
not "huff" when I sit down/get up
do a stint in the garden, enjoying full range of movement

Nonstoppeppapig · 28/04/2014 11:10

Jump a nice course of jumps on my pony at speed
Drink a tall ice cold glass of strawberry and lime cider
Sleep in comfort

TKKW · 28/04/2014 12:02

Shave my legs etc really thoroughly.
Eat brie.
Have a huge glass of red wine.
Recycle/charity shop all my maternity clothes.

LittleLight82 · 28/04/2014 12:17

Glass of chilled white wine with tantalizing possibility of second/third glass.
Sleep on my stomach.
Echo the pate suggestions. So. Much. Pate.
Put on pants without having to break it down into a series of unwieldy, staggering steps complete with groaning soundtrack.
Walk fast. Consider running.

squizita · 28/04/2014 12:32

Pint of cider (classy bird).

Entire triangle of brie. Possibly with pate spread on top. Grin

I don't hold out for losing the babyweight quickly...

squizita · 28/04/2014 12:34

Oh, and learn to wear high heels again, at least once a week even if it's just to do the hoovering like the "I want to break free" video. Because of all the worthies who have told me to sell them because 'those days are over' as apparently wearing heels makes you an unfit mum

soundsystem · 28/04/2014 12:34

Eat a blue steak.
And lots of cheese.
And some pate.
Drink some cocktails

Although really I think I'll be pleased to get to the point I can think about eating anything without worrying about seeing it again :(

JuniDD · 28/04/2014 12:39
  • wear skirts
- move all the heavy furniture, just because I can - enjoy all the food - have wine - enjoy a cup of tea again (please please please I miss tea so badly and gone right off it)
JuniDD · 28/04/2014 12:39

(I appear to have lost all the strength in my arms and I miss it, goddamit)

PenguinsLoveFishFingers · 28/04/2014 12:40

I eat all the cheese and sushi I fancy anyway. So for me:

  • chicken liver pate. Yum

And I am going to lie on my tummy (aside from the few days when my milk comes in) and revel in it!

Squizita - Most of mine don't fit any longer. My feet spread and never went back Sad

hubbahubster · 28/04/2014 13:11

You can eat baked camembert if you want, y'know. So long as it's pipping hot.

Last time I lost so much blood, all I wanted to eat was steak :)

This time I'm really craving fizz, brie and pate. In HUGE slabs…

flymo79 · 28/04/2014 13:13

YY to moving furniture! it's so frustrating having to ask dp to do everything, including bending down into cupboards and reaching up for stuff. Can't wait to be able to move independently again and even try out a little jog!!

thereisnoeleventeen · 28/04/2014 13:15

Drink rather a lot of very dry, very cold, very nice white wine.

Have sex without it being such a huge effort.

Wear my converse lace ups.
Eat rare steak.

CoolCat2014 · 28/04/2014 13:20

Drink wine
eat runny yolk eggs
Sleep on my tummy
Go for a long cycle ride

pommedeterre · 28/04/2014 13:21

Red wine, white wine, rose wine.
Sleep on my back
Drink LOTS of good coffee
Eats lots of smelly, runny cheeses
Wear all my nice jackets with the buttons done up

Stop having to inject and go back to my normal medication (pills)!

Keepthechangeyoufilthyanimal · 28/04/2014 13:22

Lie on my stomach while eating pate on toast Grin

Redorwhitejusthaveboth · 28/04/2014 13:29

Still laughing at Brie with pate spread on top GrinGrinGrin

Drink champagne
Eat blue cheese
Not have to work out where there is a toilet every 20 mins while I'm out
Pick stuff up from the floor
Unpack boxes from moving
Enjoy proper snuggles with my other kids without a bump in the way
Paint my own toenails

I shall however miss being able to wear tight clothes showing off a gorgeous bump and instead have to hide flabby tummy in sack like clothes!

I sh

pommedeterre · 28/04/2014 13:30

JuniDD - I had the tea thing with dd1, made me feel queasy all the way through. Literally as they yanked her out of me (forceps) I started to think 'ooo I really fancy a cup of tea right now'!

sisterofcaleb · 28/04/2014 13:36

Eat takeaway pizza (I have gestational diabetes) and a glass of champagne. Classic combo!

Realistically toast and marmite and a glass of milk will come first though ;)

Fairypants · 28/04/2014 14:13

DH is under orders to serve bubbly during first feed!
Having just come back from Cuba, I have lots of mojito's to make up for... Oh, and walking, lots of walking. Without belts or crutches or anythingSmile

KEGirlOnFire · 28/04/2014 14:45

Don't get too excited about sleeping on your tummy... Pre pregnancy it was the best way to sleep, 5 years post pregnancy I still can't. Pregnancy obviously did something to my back because I've only just managed to start sleeping on my back without being in agony, let alone my stomach!!! If I try and sleep on my stomach I can't actually get up when I wake up, the pain is unbearable!! Sad

justhayley · 28/04/2014 14:49

Put my shoes on without making sex noises lol
