Do people always get morning sickness with girls?

I'm about 8 weeks and have been feeling very sick. The small handful of people I have told keep telling me that it's a girl if I feel sick. And actually, if I think about it, all my friends that have girls were sick in the first 12 weeks.

Or have any of you had girls and not been sick? Or boys and been sick?

I don't mind what I have BTW. Still at the stage of just hoping I make it to 12 weeks!!

Three DDs, no sickness ever. Do realise I was very lucky indeed!

Three boys. Horrendous all day sickness with all of them until about 22 weeks.

I have 5 boys and was really sick with all of them.

All mine are girls and they've all been different.
Dd1 no sickness at all, dd2 was sick on a morning some days then fine, dd3 felt sick mostly on a night, dd4 felt a bit sick now and then but not bad, dc5 feel horrible from first thing in morning till I go to bed and was sick yesterday for first time. I'm guessing dc5 is going to be another girls

Two boys, horrendous sickness both times.

Ds queasy but not too bad
Dd proper nausea for12 weeks, then nothing.

Makes sense to me that many would feel more nauseous with a girl because of the the hormones produced by baby girls

felt very sick with DS but never actually was. DD was a wonderful pregnancy with no problems at all.

No I'm pregnant with my 4th girl and never ever had sickness!

My friend had 3 boys was so sick until 25 weeks with all then went on to have a girl and didn't have any sickness at sll!

I had hyperemesis with ds and dd
Both times I felt ill all the time

I had a girl and I had no morning sickness at all.
