Anyone else got their Dating Scan within the next week or so?

Am starting to get antsy now, scan is a week today. My last pg ended in a MMC at 11 weeks, amd I have a 2.3 yo.

Im away for easter weekend and one the one hand gladthat ill have the scan before I go away, but if it is bad news, I will have to cancel with the alternative being a horrific few weeks.

Sorry! Positive head on. Anyone else got their first scans over the next week and we can all keep one another entertained whilst we wait?

My nhs scan is 24th but I wanted a scan before Easter so I could share with family. My private scan is on the 16th. I also had a mmc last year so super nervous.
When is yours?

My scan is on the 17th, excited and nervous all at once! I also have a 2 and a half year old, don't remember pregnancy being this tiring first time around!!!Grin

It really is a lot more exhausting isnt it.

When I was pregnant with DD I would get in from work at 4.15 amd roll into bed for an hours snooze. Dh would come home, we would have tea and id be back in bed for eight.

This time arpund its straight to the CMs for dd, full on tilher bedtome at seven then by then im too tired to do more than eat some toast. Then bed.Zzzzzz

Mine's the 14th as well - quite nervous at the moment (and also slightly concerned about twins - this is DC3).

Mine is on the 23rd! And I'm sooo scared... My pregnancy hasn't even properly been confirmed (dispite my 4 positive tests) as its my first I'm worried they'll do the scan and there won't be anything :(

Mine's on the 14th and am equally terrified!

This is despite having an 2 early scans at 6+4 and 8+5 (previous ectopic and early bleed). Both scans showed a HB, but am really worried I've had a MMC between then and my dating scan.

Even if this one is ok, I'll be a nervous wreck until the 20w scan again.

Do people actually relax and enjoy this???

I always imagined pregnancy being a blissful period butas soon as I fell pg the first time I started worrying and havent stopped since.

I think it's normal to worry! Up until last week I was feeling terribly nauseous/exhausted but it now seems to have eased off, instead of feeling happy it just makes me feel more anxious!! Confused

Feeling exactly the same as most of you. Scared that there's nothing on the screen. 1st baby and no pains or bleeds so far, so no checks or scans (not that I am asking for them!!). Scan date is on the 14th AM. DH will be there.
Is anyone of you showing yet? Physically and mentally I don't feel very pregnant at all. Guess that'll change once I get an all well on Monday.

I had a tiny bleed two weeks ago which my midwife told me over the phone not to worry about..l.that has terrified me though.

I look about 6months pregnant because I'm so flipping bloated- have just been awkwardly joking to people that I've eaten too much cake (this is also kind of true!) x

I'm not showing yet, but old clothes are decidedly snug(!) - I think this is down to the constant grazing I've had to do to stave off my never-ending nausea.

Speaking to friends who have DC, they say they were never this anxious, but then none of my close friends have had problems with their pregnancies.

I think that having had the previous EP has given me a heightened sense of awareness about how things may not always turn out well Sad

Im showing, which has made the og hard to keep secret, but this is my third pregnancy so stomach muscles are shot.

ive been in materniry leggongs since six weeks ans now at eleven am in over the bump jeans.

Mines on Thursday. Scared is not the word for how I feel. Im thinking positive tho and have the next couple of days off to relax. So in the next 58 hours I will hopefully holding my scan picture crying tears of joy. OH is being as supportive as possible but I still can't help thinking the bad thoughts.

Good luck with your scans ladies and I'll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for everyone.

Mine is tomorrow morning! Been getting a lot of aching around my previous c-section scar which I'm just hoping is normal. Just over 14 hours to go!!

Really good luck everyone. I have my booking in tomorrow then scan on Monday. I feel close to certain that there's no baby there. I actually feel like a fraud going to the midwives tomorrow. I don't know why I'm so negative.

Mine's on Tuesday. Excited that hopefully all will be good and we can finally tell people but nervous too. We paid for a private scan at 8 weeks, think I would have exploded from nerves and impatience by now if we hadn't!

16th for me.

I've already had one scan but i was only 10+3 so they want to do another one.

I'll be 13 weeks if all goes well. I find it all so scary!

I have mine on Monday (14th) - really excited.

My medical friend actually used a mobile ultrasound machine to scan me in the staff room at 8 weeks (just for fun) but the resolution was so low that all we could see was a little oval-shaped thing. I can't wait to see more details :)
