Have a sleep it might be your last chance for a while. I still remember just as I was giving birth to my dd thinking 'damn it I should have made the most of a lie in this morning!'. I still regret it 10 sleep deprived months later!

Go home and have a sleep.

Both my births started with waters going. Both times I was told I was either not in labour or not fully dilated. Both times the midwife was wrong!

Listen to your body, go with it and get as much rest as you can!

Good luck!!! :)

How exciting. Yes, sleep if you can as it might take a while. My waters broke on a Saturday morning but I didn't give birth until the Wednesday morning. Hope it s quicker for you!!

Will bouncing on my gym ball possibly get things going?

If you feel you need to sleep, sleep. Bouncing may get things going it might not. It will make you worn out. Sleep now, bounce later. Labour won't stop or not start because you are alseep, when it's the real thing nothing will stop it.
Good luck xx

Get a sleep in if you can! May be the last one for a while. The labour will continue regardless and I bounced for hours, made no difference at all.

How exciting! Good luck Smile

Thanks writer! Grin dh finds it absolutely hilarious that I keep shrieking at the fluid coming out unexpectedly Envy I'm not finding it particularly amusing but am going to try and have a nap whilst I can

My waters went at 1am, I had breakfast and lunch but couldn't face anything after that, I had her at 9am the following day and still couldn't eat until early afternoon.

I'm not sure if it's coincidence or if it was timed well but I have suspicions it was the curry Smile

I know you are probably sick of hearing this but try and rest you will need your energy and if nothing happens tonight and things don't quite as you hope don't feel sad, I've had two inductions and they were both really good and positive experiences even though they are not everyone's first choice. However I'm sure it won't come to that I'm sending positive contraction vibes your way!! How exciting you're going to meet you're baby soon!

Exciting I do love a I'm in labour post. Another recommendation to sleep sleep sleep. I remember one point being in labour on all fours and crying because I saw so exhausted (my labour was only 4 hours). My waters broke at midnight Friday and I was up and down on the loo leaking more the whole night so didn't sleep. Contractions didn't start till 9pm Saturday. I hadn't really slept & the lack of energy was one of the hardest things about labour for me.

Wishing you all the luck in the world xxx

Oh no Sad i'm awful if I don't get enough sleep so god knows what I'll be like once I've got my lo whose keeping me awake for night feeds, although it'll totally be worth it. I'm currently laying on my back but am struggling to relax as my back is in agony, along with the strongest cramps Sad getting painful now

Ooh glad it's kicking off for you now! If you can't sleep, I'd get on all fours or over a birth ball to release your back. Sounds like you're having contractions and they hurt on your back!

Good luck. Also, I was induced with ds after waters went but nothing happened. Was intense but manageable and had him after 2.5hrs established labour and 3hrs pushing. I was 40+5.
