For pregnant berries at any stage. Scary thought but this is the one where some babies will appear!

Licking off sounds...interesting tally! Hurrah for last week at work!

I have no intention of beating you merk, sorry Grin even with an elective section there's no way I'd agree to intervention before 38/39 weeks and with nothing in my pelvis I'm unlikely to spontaneously labour. Looks like you're still our trailblazer!

Glad all went well kitty

Rennies beat gaviscon on hands down IMO , gaviscon is vile!

Had a lovely day today despite rain. Hoping for slightly better weather tomorrow, found a nice looking low level 3-miler to waddle round (plenty of teashops en route for scone breaks refreshments!)

BlindKitty · 18/03/2014 19:38

merk I can't stand the liquid stuff. I do have a packet if calcium carbonate in every room, work drawers, and car door!

boom with all that walking who knows what will happen to the boombabies positions...

CatsCantFlyFast · 18/03/2014 19:39

Peppermint gaviscon. It's entirely different to the original or the other flavour

Boom your 38/39 weeks could still beat my 40+12 couldn't it??

Thunderpantsarego · 18/03/2014 19:39

My question boom my question!!!

Thunderpantsarego · 18/03/2014 19:43

shameless attention seekering

Bunnygirlie · 18/03/2014 19:57

a J cup boom holy moly Shock Hope you enjoy your time away!

Oh I feel like a big fat slob! As I went and got a plate for my donut the pg girl at work walked past with a plate of fruit and then she got changed after work into gym stuff. I feel like a crappy mother to be Sad

merk thunder or boom who will be first, place your bets peeps!!!

Boomgoestheweasel · 18/03/2014 20:04

Ha sorry thunder! Impossible to know without having a squidge of your bump frankly. An engaged left OA baby isn't facing your right hip directly, more your right bum cheek, so if the baby's dropped it's perfectly possible it could kick you down the midline and punch you on the left hand side. Are you worried it's gone OP? Sometimes you can tell an op baby because your bump looks a bit concave rather than hard round the front. This isn't conclusive though! Can your midwife have a feel for you?

tally no chance! I'm only just 35 now, got a good 4 weeks left in me yet Grin

kitty we can only hope... Kicks are still way down at bladder level and there's a suspiciously head shaped bump sticking out under my ribs at the moment, but I tend to overanalyse! Lots of walking and swimming and I'm trying to find a Chinese medicine clinic up here that will moxibust me again.. All I can do really!

Boomgoestheweasel · 18/03/2014 20:13

merk not tally. D'oh!

Thunderpantsarego · 18/03/2014 20:29

Thank you boom Smile
Tbh I don't know which way round it is now, but it's not along my left side like before- at times I think there's a bum and back running down my front just to the right of centre and other times I think it must be completely op with kicks coming straight out the front. Next mw appt is Monday so I guess I'll have to wait til then instead of driving up to the lakes to get you to have a feel

bunny don't feel crappy, eat that doughnut with relish and be proud! not real relish, that would be odd

CatsCantFlyFast · 18/03/2014 20:47

Thunder mine moved off the left to a more central position this week and chiro said not to worry, tho she's gone back again now. When she's down the left she still manages to get feet/knees/hands to my belly button. Could it be like that?

OP posts:
Thunderpantsarego · 18/03/2014 21:11

I dunno really - if I press down the middle now it's firm but with knobbly bits below the surface and my belly button definitely isn't as pushed out as it was (but when I press there something twangs my bladder). Can feel something solid top right. God it's confusing. Poor baby is getting totally prodded at the moment. I figure it's probably not worth worrying about - I'll keep trying to do my good positioning and hope it comes good. Not that I'm moving this evening- am in bed feeling cruddy again. Humph!

Bunnygirlie · 18/03/2014 21:34

Thanks thunder will stick to jam donuts Grin

Sorry you're feeling crappy Sad

BlindKitty · 18/03/2014 21:35

merk I think it's the texture I don't like

bunny once I hit the second trimester I started to eat much better and started to exercise again. There was no way it was going to happen in the first trimester though!

Guys, pampas are £3 a pack from Tesco online atm if anyone is interested

CatsCantFlyFast · 18/03/2014 22:19

There's nothing really under my belly button. For me I have spine up the left, ending with a firm big round bum. Then she must have her knees bent as the next biggest bump is hard and round, below and to the right (looking from above) of her bum, just off from my bellybutton. I have one foot top left and one centre left, but sometimes both are lower (parallel with my bellybutton). Her knees are def hard and knobby and the lump is almost as big as her bum. The only other lump I get occasionally is a shoulder when she is twisting.
Do any of your lumps make sense to be knees as initially it was that lump that was confusing me?

OP posts:
Thunderpantsarego · 18/03/2014 22:32

I dunno merk I really am totally clueless about what's what! I have nowhere near the self awareness that you have! Right now I have horrible indigestion pain and my whole bump has gone hard with belly button popped out. Feel really pretty shite poorly just now so going to curl up in bed and feel sorry for myself....

CatsCantFlyFast · 18/03/2014 22:48

Thunder I had to have it pointed out to me before I started to understand, but it is really frustrating to not be able to figure it out.
Hope you get some sleep and feel better soon

OP posts:
BlindKitty · 19/03/2014 06:41

I've just realised there's been no stupid o' clock berry posts...this either means that all berries actually slept through last night or something else...

Thunderpantsarego · 19/03/2014 07:39

I actually did get some sleep - amazing! Woke up eleventy seven times as normal but managed to get back to sleep again quite quickly. Strange but great! Woken with banging headache and starving having skipped my wee-hours meal and dinner as I was feeling so lousy

Morning everyone. Hump day today...

CatsCantFlyFast · 19/03/2014 08:05

I slept too! Always have a better night after the chiro

CatsCantFlyFast · 19/03/2014 08:05

Ps I promise (unless the baby falls out unexpectedly with no notice) you will all hear the minute I get a twinge. It def won't be a surprise Grin

PoppySeedBun · 19/03/2014 08:25

Morning, berries!
Sorry to hear you've been feeling rubbish, thunder but glad you got some sleep.
Re positioning, I have no idea which lump is which, but I generally get sharp pointy pokes on my right, so I'm assuming she has stayed more or less the same, ie head down, spine on the left, bum up under my ribs, knees in the centre and feet dangling over to the left. Will find out S&T checkup today - 35 weeks!

Good luck with your last week, tally. I've got one more week after his (though two days of that are holiday) and I'm soooo looking forward to stopping.

Read this thoughtful article on Downs babies this morning, that might be of interest:

Thunderpantsarego · 19/03/2014 08:50

Interesting read, poppy, thank you for sharing the link. Sounds like your baby is in the same position mine was for ages. It can all change and get confusing again!

Hope appointment goes well. 6 more days of work?! Not long Grin

Angelina77 · 19/03/2014 10:15

8 weeks and 2.7 days here before I start my leave. Not counting the days though, honest.

Back's killing me suddenly this week, the pain sometimes radiates from a sharp point in my lower right back down into a dull ache in a lower pelvic area. Anyone else had this?

CatsCantFlyFast · 19/03/2014 10:28

Watch it's not the start of PGP/SPD Angel...

Just posted a huge amount of links on FB which may be interesting to you all

OP posts:
Angelina77 · 19/03/2014 10:42

Yeah, I was worried it could be something like that, but I did feel my back 'go' on the bus the other day, I've always had a weak back. I'll see how it goes. The midwife told me last week to watch out for any pains in the pelvic area, especially if I ever get the feeling that my legs could give way when I'm walking. I sort of did feel like that this morning but don't know if I'm imagining it now.
