weird positive lines? or stress inducing evaps?

hi everyone. im due on Friday but have a awful feeling I could be pregnant.

dh has had snip but I have been pregnant 4 times and sometimes its just unmistakable.
im hoping im wrong but here goes.

I have taken 3 first responses tests. all have dark tips at top and bottom and a fainter line through.

sainsburys own test keeps coming up with a dark but skinny line- I have read about these and apparently mostly negatives.

so today I trotted to the shop bought a 2 pack got my mum who is def bot pregnant too pee on one and I did other
. again the skinny line comes up for me nothing for mum.

im not talking anymore tests anymore im driven demented.

anyone had any of these and been negative ir positive?

dh is booked in for a check for his semen tom to double check

I have had very thin lines that were positives ....

Any chance you can post a picture of one of them for us to look at?

When I've been in similar situations as test that says 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant' has reduced my blood pressure remarkably x

I would be surprised if you got that many false positives. Can you go to the gp tomorrow for a blood test?

How long ago did dh have the snip? Has he had all the follow up tests that show there's no sperm in his semen?

I think a line is a line and you are pregnant.

I had very faint lines on about 5 different brands of tests and after much research it seemed clear that it was definitely positive if showing on more than one brand. Unfortunately the lines didn't get any darker over a period of a few days so it seems the hcg wasn't increasing as it should, that ended in an early miscarriage at about 6 weeks.
The next pregnancy (current one) was a much more obvious line and became darker over the next few days. I did lots of research and found the superdrug own brand (2 quid each btw) were the most sensitive for early testing.
I completely understand the demented test mentality, it can drive you crazy but so can not knowing. Lots of advice I have read is a line is a line. Tests are generally very reliable these days.
That was only my experience so not very scientific regarding faint lines but hope it helps in some way. Have you thought about booking an appt with GP for reassurance?

Hmmm, I never usually wade in on these tests, but if you have done 4(?) tests, different brands, and they all have a faint positive.... Well, I would say that's a positive!

How long since you Dh had the snip?

hi dh had snip.18 months ago both tests all clear.

I think if they were "normal" lines I would accept it but there all weird.

Ok, having looked at the pictures, I would say these look like very early positive tests, certainly not just evap lines- these look like test results I get about 4 days before my period is due. i.e. very early to test.

After 2 or 3 more days the lines got darker and I felt more confident. (Or on a couple of occasions the tests did not get any darker in the next few days and I knew I was heading for an early miscarriage).

So I would say you are pregnant today, and to check again in a couple of days & the tests may well have got darker.

Don't want to congratulate you as from your OP it might not be appropriate x

Another baby wouldn't be the end if the world. . but same time he had the snip for a reason. . no contraceptive work for us we have 5 children from the pill, condoms, injection, morning after pill.

our last babies are twins!

I can see them too, perhaps try another on Friday if you can wait and there are no changes in the meantime.

I'd go for a Clear Blue one next. I did the cheapies and got feint lines like that all the time. I poas CB, and got 1-2 weeks etc.

I don't think the lines are dark enough for clear blue. With my others it took me about 2-3 days after my af was due and I was having strong unmistakable lines.

These are all weird. the first response ones has dark pink tips kind of like a evap and the lines run?

and well the sainsburys ones are known for there stupid skinny non positive lines.

I know I sound like im in denial but ive never had lines luke this before!

If you are due on friday, and in previous PG's got positive tests 2-3 days after you were due, that means these tests could be five days earlier than your usual experience, which might explain why they look weaker?

yes due on Friday. With others all abit of a mix really but digitals all at least 2-3 days over af for those.
