Just seen the apple bite Smirnoff advert and being 35 weeks tomorrow I've been alcohol free since day one of knowing but thanks to the tv I could murder an ice cold vodka and coke! Along with pate, and a baileys

That is all!

I really fancy a gin and tonic with lots of ice..

I really want pâté and I didn't have it very often before I was pregnant.

I haven't really fancied any alcohol until I saw that on tv. I'm one of those 'if I can't have it I can easily go without' but would help me drift off to sleep too

I seriously want a glass of rose wine. There's half a bottle of dp's sitting in the fridge and I so badly wanted a glass earlier on. It just looked so inviting and I suppose I could have had a small glass seen as I'm 38 weeks but I've been alcohol free since I found out I was pg so a part of me would feel really guilty as I've only got (fingers crossed) two weeks to go!

Little bean you haven't got long! 4 weeks tops if little one doesn't appear on time! Just think you can celebrate with a bottle if you wanted to once baby bean is here

The only thing even close to a satisfying Friday night beverage has been a Koppaberg non-alcholic pear cider with loads of ice.

Still needs a vodka in it though.

Just have a drink. One won't do any harm. Especially at your stage of pregnancy.

Ice cold tonic water in a wine glass is a good substitute!

A very wise lady pointed me in the direction of Fosters Radler. Sort of a pre-mixed cloudy lemonade shandy. It's 2%, 0.6 units per bottle and really hits the spot if you like Smirnoff Ice. And the best thing is, because they're so light, you can have more than 1 and still be within the maximum 2-3 unit limit. And they do taste alcoholic.

I really wanted a Corona this week with a nice lime in it. Ooh... still 16 weeks to go but I can't wait!!

My oh just bought me a load of alcohol free bavarias. They are really hitting the spot for me. Ice cold in a nice bath. Does me.

I felt like this yesterday, think it was more just a really refreshing cold drink that I needed.

I have hg so it's a no go. Sadly.

I had a glass of champagne last weekend at an afternoon tea and it was lush.

I never really drank before, not much opportunity/reason/money with two kids already. So I haven't felt like I missed it but the champagne was really lovely!

Just have one!! A glass of wine now will NOT give your baby FAS for goodness sake.

Glad to see so many sensible ladies accepting the odd drink towards the end of the pregnancy is fine. As I know I'm only having one a week I've been splashing out on decent wine!

Another vote for the 0% Bavarias - we got the white beers, tastes a lot like Erdinger - a real treat!

Looking forward to post 12 weeks and can have the odd small glass of wine. Or champagne - like your style, MummyPig24!

36+5 here and I had a delicious glass of ice cold Rose last night. Twas delish.

0% Erdinger or Bavaria (superior to Becks), and Cidona (Tescos or Onells pubs sell it) for a cider taste.

Now if someone can replicate a fake runny fried egg ...

...as others have mentioned later on the odd glass is ok. I'm 'high risk' 1st trimester andanyway the smell of proper wine/spirits make me gag at the mo.

I would have had one as well, theres no other pleasures in pregnancy, if one drink is going to hit the spot go for it!

I have one drink maybe once a week, sometimes two sometimes not at all. I didnt think I would but at about 18 weeks I finally broke! My SIL has even given up a cup of tea, its going to be a very long 9 months for her!
