Should I wake DH?

I'm 38+2 w no3. 1st two, my waters clearly went before contractions started, without any prior symptoms. With this baby, I've already had 2 false alarms (one when I thought my waters had gone, the other when I was having BH that I thought were turning into contractions).

I went to bed last night and woke w period pains about 11.30. Woke again about 1.30 and am awake again now. Pain kind of dull and regular, rather than contraction- like.

I feel like the boy who cried wolf so don't want to wake DH unless this is it. But if it is, we'll need PIL to come and look after DC. They're only 15 min drive away and have said it'll take 30 mins to get to us (inc getting up ).

I've had pretty quick labours before - less than 4.5 hrs from waters to baby w no2. Not sure if I should leave DH or not. If I do, he prob won't fall back to sleep though, and I'll feel like a chump if it's nothing.

Thank you all!

Mummyinpink- waters went a little in bed at 11.30, and then w a splash when I got up for a wee. Strong but spaced out contractions till 3am, when all of a sudden they went from every 8-10 mins to every 3-4 mins. Then needed to bear down about 4.15 and she was born with about 6-8 pushes.

Managed to have time for a little dose of diamorphine (only had time for gas and air before) after g&a made me feel sick. Def fewer pushes than either
No1 or 2. Much easier delivery, i'd say.
