I'm 35+6 and have been totally unable to sleep more than a few hours a night for wks now. Last night was 3 hours, tonight has only been 1.5 hrs so far. I'm so tired and drained. Also have a 2.1 very active dd so no rest in the day. Have in idea where energy to look after newborn will come from.

Anyone else suffering the same?

I had insomnia with my pregnancy. Before going to bed I used to go for walking and stared taking warm shower after that. It helped me to go into deep sleep. Sometimes to I used to drink warm milk. Avoid tea, coffee or cola drinks in the evening, as the caffeine can make it harder to go to sleep. Check here for how to minimize insomnia
