Anyone else not sleeping? 9.5 weeks and it's a mix of anxiety and restless leg.... Have to be up for work in less than 3 hours..... Ugh.

Purplehonesty · 31/12/2013 04:50

It doesn't get much better even when they are 18 months old tho.... Hmm

Lj8893 · 31/12/2013 04:53

I'm awake. Not pregnant though, feeding my 2 month old.

So get used to it now ladies!!

Apparentlychilled · 31/12/2013 04:55

Been awake for about an hour. Am 35+5. Had 2 early arrivals before so trying to figure out if I feel sick cos something is happening or cos I'm tired. Prob the latter, tbh.

dizhin79 · 31/12/2013 05:02

yup checking in too! 31 weeks though I found the insomnia went in phases in the 1st 2 trimesters, now it's just random nights!

Tea1Sugar · 31/12/2013 05:08

24 weeks, barely slept at all this week. Only an hour until dd (3) will be awake. Sigh.

Apparentlychilled · 31/12/2013 05:27

Aaagh- ds now awake...! Great

ClearlyMoo · 31/12/2013 05:28

21 weeks, had some really bad nights this week. This one not too bad as 6hrs in a chunk but now awake. Husbands alarm goes off at 6, so I may stay awake til then to try and go back to sleep once he gets up.

I (probably like the rest of you) had been hoping to have enough sleep now so I can manage midnight tonight. Last one child free. Mind you we are spending it with BIL&SIL who have 5 month old. So unlikely to stay up that late anyway!!

Happy New Year to you all!

chloecorey · 31/12/2013 05:30

It gets worse, I was on the couch and didn't sleep in my last two weeks Hmm nothing helped

Apparentlychilled · 31/12/2013 05:36

clearly I'm v impressed you're hoping to get to midnight tonight- I fully plan on being in bed by 10pm!

KatamariDamacy · 31/12/2013 05:41

Awake. 38 weeks today. Vomiting toddler to make sure I stay awake. Not happy.

Shropshiremummy2B · 31/12/2013 05:45

Eughhhh 35+4 and wide awake. It appears only my eyes are tired. Just ate a banana because I thought I was hungry. Now if feel the same but with furry teeth. Would brush them but the energy it takes to haul ass out of bed would mean I'd need another banana upon my return. A vicious circle. There should be a mathematical equation for the above. All I know is that a memory foam mattress is all well and good when you're in it, but it's beetle on its back territory when you're with child.

Last 3 days at work before mat leave. Wish me luck.

Apparentlychilled · 31/12/2013 05:48

Good luck shropshire. I think we must share a due date! I'm sitting here, trying to do sleep training w my 2yo who has recently started to play up.

GhettoPrincess001 · 31/12/2013 05:50

I'm on my second Pimms and Lemonade. No, it's not that bad. It's just that I live overseas and it's evening now.

Happy New Year all.

Apparentlychilled · 31/12/2013 06:03

Happy new year

teaandkittens · 31/12/2013 06:56

another one joining the 430am club. Although now it's nearly 7. I'm 11 weeks. Why can't you take sleeping pills during pregnancy?! Argh!

AnnaBanana25 · 31/12/2013 08:04

15 weeks. Been tossing and turning all night, didnt get out of bed as I thought I might have fallen asleep eventually.

Of course... Fell asleep right before my alarm went for work. Whhhhyyyyyyy?! I just want sleep!

ClearlyMoo · 01/01/2014 04:51

Argh! Again? Seriously?! Yesterday I went back to sleep eventually after hubby's 6am alarm for another hour or so. No nap then actually made it to midnight (just at home on sofa watching TV)! Means I've had about 4hrs, and now WIDE AWAKE! Seriously?! Aaaargh! Might play some Tetris see if it gets me back off. Shock

ClearlyMoo · 01/01/2014 05:51

Watched Countdown, Beverley Hills 90210, ate cheese crackers, walnut whip, meringue..... Husband will be up in 10 minutesConfused

SoonToBeSix · 01/01/2014 06:06

mixi82 · 01/01/2014 08:59

Awake at 4.20am this morning and has been around that time for the last few weeks. I'm 12 weeks today, had dating scan yesterday :):) I actually don't mind too much, if it's happening regularly then I'd rather get used to it now. My first baby too :)

OhCaptainDarling · 01/01/2014 09:53

4:30am is my loo trip! I don't even need to set an alarm. It's like sodding clock work every night without fail.

Only 16 days left for me then ELCS eekkk!

Apparentlychilled · 02/01/2014 02:43

How's everyone doing tonight? Was asleep about 10.30, then awake 12, and then 1 for the loo and now been awake since 2. And dh is back at work tomorrow so I have both dc. Aaagh!
