I'm currently 8 weeks and I can't move or I am sick... When did everyone else start to feel a little better?

1st time - 16/18 weeks
2nd time - 10/12 weeks

TwerkingNineToFive · 30/12/2013 15:22

12 weeks to the day last time. I'm 8 weeks too with dc2 and sick as a dog, so I'm hoping it will be over soon.
Congrats.

This is my 5th and the worst for morning sickness... unless my memory has helpfully wiped itself.. I am really hoping it will peak soon so I can start living normally... I couldn't even bring myself to brush my hair yet today... dreading my partner going back to work

Around 20 weeks with DC1, although it came back randomly right up to the end, and I was sick during labour too.

At 39 weeks (when I went into labour) with DC2 Sad.

Honestly, I would ring your GP and ask for anti-emetics, especially as you have other children to look after, bless you.

JasMumOfFour · 30/12/2013 15:31

My Doctor said he would rather see me in hospital than give me tablets... I don't know if that is the norm or not (UK)

First time around 15 weeks - last time I was actually sick was 20 weeks though the nausea came back a bit at the end.

This time - improved slightly at 21 weeks. 28 weeks now & still feel rubbish a lot of the time. Really wish I'd seen my gp for anti emetics but feel it's too late now.

Hope you feel better soon.

SweetPea86 · 30/12/2013 15:47

CPtart · 30/12/2013 15:50

1st time about 4 months.
2nd time less severe but still throwing up at nine months.

MrsMcEnroe · 30/12/2013 15:57

No OP it's not the norm in the UK. Your GP sounds awful, can you go to another one?

bzoo · 30/12/2013 16:00

About 3hours after delivery!

Cookiepants · 30/12/2013 16:02

Day DS was born - sorry Confused

Plateofcrumbs · 30/12/2013 16:04

Just for a bit more positivity - I have not had it too bad overall but was worst weeks 6-9. Not shaken it off completely yet but getting there at 11 weeks .

neolara · 30/12/2013 16:04

26 weeks with dc3. Bloody grim.

sharkey1187 · 30/12/2013 16:20

I'm 7+4, awful sickness and I have spent the last 3 nights throwing up. tried to make it to work this morning.... made it as far as the shower. I saw GP today hoping he'd give me something so I could take it the days I have to work (I work in a moving vehicle and the motion sickness is the worst) but he said there is nothing that's guaranteed to be totally safe so I actually have to get worse before they'll consider it :-( I feel like a failure for not making it into work but the GP would rather sign me off sick than prescribe me meds. I've been told to eat little and often and eat what I can... All I can stomach are crisps. My ketones were up today so I have to get reviewed next week. It's pants......... but at least DH is letting me snooze. I feel for you ladies who have little ones to run around after too x

ladylashes · 30/12/2013 16:23

Felt considerably better by 16 weeks. Minor nausea from 17-20 weeks, then nothing!! Hope it goes soon OP, I know it's horrible x

boopdoop · 30/12/2013 16:30

I was v v sick from 6 - 14 weeks, then just felt sick for another couple of weeks, thrn have felt fine ever since (now 30 weeks). Went to doctors and got signed off for a week when it was at its worst 11-12 weeks, but next time will push harder for meds as really struggled. Hope you start to improve soon.

EeyoreIsh · 30/12/2013 16:34

Started to ease at 16 weeks, only occasional bouts after 20 weeks. At 35 weeks it's starting to return.

Smartiepants79 · 30/12/2013 16:36

Approximately 20 weeks both times. Never really felt well until they'd been born though.

Knit2togtbl · 30/12/2013 16:39

I was still barfing up until birth. I also developed terrible car sickness .

StillPukin · 30/12/2013 17:14

I'm currently 39+1, I'll let you know when it goes Sad

I was throwing up daily until 19 weeks, had a bit of a break with intermittent nausea, at about 30 weeks its come back, I'm not actually sick every day (every 2nd day-ish) but I do feel constantly sick. I'm REALLY hoping that as soon as my little one arrives it will go and I will never, never, never feel sick again for the rest of my life Hmm

Blondebrunette1 · 30/12/2013 17:14

I thought I'd got away with just mild nausea until today 7+2 I'm so sick and know to prepare for the long haul as it hasn't gone away with the other two until at least 16 weeks. Goodness knows how ill cope with the school runs I can barely move. Feel for you. I'm not taking mess though either, I'd panic of the dangers too much & I've got through it before I will this time xxx

Nordicmom · 30/12/2013 17:17

I also had it until birth from 5 w...

Nordicmom · 30/12/2013 17:18

Trying to get preg again and dreading it but have had tons of misscarriages so nausea not my main worry .

sharkey1187 · 30/12/2013 17:21

I've just bought some anti sickness wrist bands...... If this actually works I will let you know!
