Aww that's lovely, lie down and just watch your stomach jump up and down , one of the most precious moments in pregnancy enjoy.

hunkermunker · 22/07/2006 23:27

Oh, how lovely - I miss those kicks.

Still get 'em, mind you - DS2 likes to sleep with his feet on my back

misdee · 22/07/2006 23:28

awww.

i was watching something that davina was presenting last weekend with Peter, and he said 'watch her belly' and blimey her baby is a lively little thing as well.

bubble99 · 22/07/2006 23:29

I think he's fired up by the 'early weaning' thread?

I do hope you have your placenta in a proper feeding routine, Bubble. Rod for your own back if you don't, you know...

lucy5 · 22/07/2006 23:31

How preggers are you bubble?

Miaou · 22/07/2006 23:33

Aw bubble, that's soooo lovely

bubble99 · 22/07/2006 23:35

Time out, if not?

I'm (not 'we' but I can always talk Mr Bubble into it ) are veering towards 'Gabriel' at the moment.

Top ten Munker name, I know. One thing, and it may sound silly, but the shortened name will be 'Gabe'....will he be called 'Gay' d'you think?? Children can be cruel.

25 and a half weeks, lucy.

Thanks, Miaou. X

I'm 20 weeks and not feeling much yet, I think it's because im so inactive because of the heat.

bubble99 · 22/07/2006 23:38

Is this your first baby, lucy?

oooh I wouldn't think so. Gabriel is lovely, and so is Gabe. Most names have a potential teasing option (even if you don't realise it at first) - I speak from experience! I shouldn't worry about it.

vitomum · 22/07/2006 23:40

gabriel and gabe both lovely bubble. enjoy your boy's wriggles

I also like 'Asher' - a Hebrew name.

I did like 'Jacob' but it means 'one who replaces' or suchlike...and I lost a baby boy during labour last year and it sounds too true.

'Ash' or 'Gay'.....No contest in the shortened names contest, I s'pose. But I do like Gabriel. My DS3 is called Elijah and I though it would be nice to have two angels in my family.

My RL married initials are such that I don't have Mrs HU Munker just Mrs H Munker on cards and things (well, obviously I don't have that) - I think that any name has the potential for teasing and frankly, children will find something to take the piss out of if they so want and better that it's your name in some respects than a physical characteristic, IMO.

I really like Gabriel and Gabe. And I think it goes very well with Elijah too. What does Mr Bubble like?

I'm glad I'm not called Melanie, because, although it's not a horrible name, people would snigger. I am, after all, melony...
